This chapter has the tiniest bit of spice, so be aware!!!

Elowen was in a shadowy forest. Moon shone bright above imitating the sun with its soft silver light. Elowen stood alone in an opening. The air was sweet, the breeze was calming. With the night’s beauty one could simply mistake the place for a corner in heaven. The ends of her cloak swayed with the grass underneath. The scenery was too perfect to be real in Elowen’s eyes. There was something so very wrong and yet she struggled to pinpoint what it was.
That was until hearing the soft giggles that could barely be heard by normal ears. Turning around, Elowen saw no one. “Who is there?” she said. Soft wind swayed around her, giggles sounding more loud and clear. Elowen raised her sword. “If you are wise, you won’t play games with me. Who are you? Answer me!” Elowen spatted out harshly. The scent of flowers lingered within the wind. “Oh dear Elowen… who else but me?”. That soft voice laced with honey, sweet, tooth rotting even, as light as clouds… “Did you miss me like how I have missed you love?” her voice lingered. Elowen found herself incapable of speech she stood frozen. “You cannot fool me.” she muttered to herself. “Fool you? Oh dearest I have no intention. I just came to visit. Are you not happy? You were the one who said goodbye.” the voice said. Only then Elowen felt a hand on her cheek, caressing her. Fighting the urge to lean in and close her eyes, Elowen’s words stood stuck in her mouth. Every touch was so light, so gentle, so inviting. It was only then Elowen realized that there was no real hand touching her. Only a lilac smoke that was shaped like a hand, lingering nowhere but around her. Elowen tried to get the hand away from her. Harshly pulling herself away slicing the thick smoke with her sword. “What are you? A spirit?” Elowen managed to let out. The only response she got was a tsk. “It’s me, Opeli.” The smoke finally took a firm shape of a body, still remaining lilac and inhuman. With every step of the figure, a little smoke was let out into the thick air. It was hotter and more suffocating now. Elowen yet again stood frozen. The figure wrapped her arms around her waist. Looking up and flashing an angelic smile, her eyes told another story. A story of mischief, of a hidden motive. Trying to get away again after feeling her touch, Elowen had a hard time breathing regularly. When she touched the figure her body went right through her like how it would to smoke but somehow still managed to feel Opeli touching her. Elowen fell on her knees running her hands through her long blond hair.  “Why can’t I touch you?” Elowen stuttered out of shock. A low chuckle left Opeli’s lips. “You hated it when I touched you, yet you ask me why you can’t touch me love? What are you thinking, Elowen? Look at yourself.” Opeli kneeled with Elowen. Reaching out to Elowen again and cupping her face between her hands. Opeli gently lifted Elowen’s head, running her thumbs over her cheekbones. “There is no use in resisting. I can make you so happy, you can feel so pleased. All you do is to push me away when I reach out to you over and over again. So Elowen, relax. I want to take care of you. Would I really go through the trouble if I didn't care about you?” She asked sweetly.
Elowen couldn't form words. This was not Opeli. Opeli wasn’t as bold. Opeli wasn’t as seductive. Her touches were genuine, they didn’t linger long. She was everything this smokey being was not. Despite knowing this deep down there was a part of her that wished for the touch. It was weak to ask for it and not pulling away once getting it, or so Elowen thought. So far, this possible spirit did nothing too lewd.  ‘Just this once’ was Elowen’s final thought before succumbing to the touches.
Seeing her shoulders relax, Opeli led Elowen to sit up than to kneel. Hands still cupping her face. She scratched Elowen’s ears, hugged her, sat on Elowen’s lap by doing so… And yet Elowen still couldn’t shake the feeling of how wrong it felt. It didn’t matter if the touch felt good Elowen hated knowing she was defenseless against the thought of the Opeli. She was fighting a battle inside her head. Elowen didn’t flinch, breathed slowly and said nothing. Was it ok if she didn’t feel good? Why was she so desperate for something she couldn’t quite put a finger on? She never felt such confusion before. But with one final decision, Elowen firmly stood up with her muscles clenched. Soft arms curled around her waist from her back, Elowen felt Opeli rubbing her face to her back. “Going so soon love? Please stay a while. Let me hold you a little while longer. I may never see you again.” Opeli cooed. Such soft eyes, warmest of looks under the moonlight. Elowen might have said yes at that moment. But she shook her head. “You are just some weird sirenish creature. You are not Opeli. I will not be tempted by you.” Elowen spat out. The smoke figure looked displeased. “Who are you telling this to? Me or yourself. I told you before, I am her.” smoke flew up to face Elowen. “However, I must admit. I am your desire. For her. You think it’s weird to like her don’t you? To want to hold her when you never felt that way in years.” she let out a big laugh “And yet you were too prideful to act upon it. Let me guess, you think she cursed you and she is a witch. Aha! Didn’t I just hit the nail on the head?” the laughter of the spirit echoed through the woods, Elowen blocking her ears with her hands. “This is nonsense. I am not into such needy thoughts, she is only intriguing that’s all. She might have used magic on me as a payback too. We are enemies!” Elowen cried. The smokey figure only laughed harder. “Enemies, you say? How come it took you so long to get out of my grasp huh? You think I didn’t see your inner battle? You just said I was not her and pushed me away sadly. So sad how your words don’t follow up your actions. It’s time to wake up, Elowen.” she said. Moving forward from where she was, floating towards Elowen, Opeli cupped her face again. Raised Elowen’s head to tilt her head and come closer to finally let her lips touch-
Elowen sprinted up from where she was sleeping with heavy breathes and sweat dripping.
It was morning, and she was sweaty. She ran a hand over her messy bangs. Her hands at her hair for a while before moving onto massaging her temples. Her tail flickering around. What kind of a dream was that? Whatever it was, Elowen felt hot. “It’s time to wake up Elowen.” it stuck to her. It was not normal to like a girl. She has never liked anyone, never been soft with anyone save her brother, the cursed feeling of giddiness inside her made her feel weak, vulnerable. She despised it to her very bones. But the message of the dream was as clear as it could be. And yet she could do nothing about it without drawing suspicion. She damned the world, cursed herself. Maybe she could afford a quick visit to Mournfall. Just a quick look. One possible last glance to ease herself. And so Elowen decided. “I said I’d see you soon. Let’s see how much you have improved since the last time we met Opeli.” was her thought as she slightly stretched.
Elowen’s boots clicked as she walked around the streets of Mournfall. It took her long enough to get to Mournfall. Mournfall was not unfamiliar to her. She had tracked Sage before, leading her here. Elowen was willing to bet money on the fact that Sage was probably in a tavern, drinking the night away.
“Since Opeli is his apprentice, she probably tagged along with him.” was Elowen’s thought as she slowly walked around the town, making her way to the tavern she had a hard time remembering where the tavern was but nevertheless got there. She didn’t want to go in. Once she dared to sip a drink there, but the taste of the drink made her want to puke under the nearest tree. As Elowen neared the entrance of the boisterous inn, she noticed the familiar figure.
