The night was silent except for the faint ping and shuffling of feet and as (Y/n) and Ushijima exited the store; meatbuns in one hand and manga in the other.
"You know, you didn't have to buy this stuff for me Toshi."
The giant shrugs. "I know." He says, "I just saw the look in you're eyes when you saw the manga so i decided to buy them for you."
"Awwee Toshi!" The girl-one arm-hugs the the giant, he ruffles her hair.
"Don't ruin the moment Toshi." She grunts as she gently takes her arm off him. "Now come on, take me home."
How did she get here? What is this pain she was feeling? Where was the feeling in her legs? Her hitched breathing made her horrified as she saw a giant figure sprinting towards her through her blurred vision. She couldn't see out of her left eye but she could knew the man, she could sense him with her eyes closed. She wanted to call out his name but she couldn't, her eyes slowly closed.
It was a nightmare. It had to be. Atleast, he wanted it to be. But it wasn't. Holding the limp girl in his arms was the only thing keeping him from breaking down. Her slow breathing which she only took in small inhales and exhales made him want to kill whoever did this to her. He was going to rip them apart.
(Y/n) woke up to a faint beeping and a white ceiling. She groaned at the feeling in her legs as she shifed in her bed-it was like someone was ripping at them-but it wasn't that which made her worried.
"Ahh! Miss (L/n). You're finally up. Hows the eye going?"
(Y/n) touches her left eye softly-only to feel the soft fabric of a eyepatch covering it. "What.. Happened?"
"Thats what we were hoping you would know." The doctor taps his check board with his pen. "You're boyfriend found you in the halls of you're school in a really terrible shape. You're school than called us, we had a few operations on you and now here we are."
She looks out the window. "Operations?"
The doctor nods. "Yea." He points to her eye with his pen. "We had to do an operation on you're eye." He than points to her covered legs. "And you're legs."
(Y/n)s eyes widen as she quickly throws back the covers of her bed, only to see two numbs of her thighs. Her legs were gone. Tears form in her eyes as she looks up to the doctor. He looks at her with a sad smile before directing his eyes to the table next to her, she follow his gaze to find two prostetic legs. "You're legs were in horrible shape so we had to get you new ones."
Tears start rolling dowb her face. "Volleyball." She says. Looking up at the doctor. "Will i still be able to play?"
