Chapter 36

Watching as the bus with the name 'Blue castle' in bold letters on each side drive off into the evening sky was like taking a chunk of (Y/n)s heart and driving off with it.
She hugged onto Ushijima-who had a grin on his face-and walked into their own bus, wiping her tears as they planted themselves on a seat near the back, Tendou-who was sitting infront of them-throughout the ride back was constantly turning around and chatting. In the end (Y/n) ended up falling asleep on Ushijimas shoulder from exhaustion, (and Tendou not shutting up.)

"Morning guys." (Y/n) said, wiping the sleep from her one uncovered eye and hugging both the boys as greeting the next day. "What time did we get back yesterday?"
"I'm not sure." Ushijima says, grabbing the girls hand. "But it was late."
"Yea! We were quite surprised to not see you during our morning jog, it was a shame.. We all know Ushijima missed you though."
The giant just shrugs. "I'm not denying."
A light fade brushed the girls cheeks. "D-don't say that.." She mutters. The giant just kisses the girls head with a smile.

"I'll see you break?"
"I'll see you break."
A deep kiss on the lips and a sly, seductive wink from Ushijima was their final goodbyes as they parted ways to their classrooms. (Y/n) couldn't stop smiling as she sat down next to Lei. She just looked at the smiling girl.
"Did something good happen between you and Ushijima and your new relationship?" She said in her usual quiet tone with a slight hint of annoyance.
"Nothing much." (Y/n) said, noticing the annoyance in her tone and brushing it off, nothing could ruin the good mood she was in. She looked to her friend with a smile. "Are you going practice afterschool?"
"Yup." Lei said, looking at the girl with a small smile. "Are you?"
"I've been dying to go if i be honest. Watching those boys play made me fucking jealous. I wanna play too.."
"Well you're lucky. We have a tournament coming up soon and coach wants us training hard."
"Good! I honestly can't wait!"

Lunch came rolling around fast, when Ushijima requested that they sit together alone somewhere quiet it took the girl by surprise.
"Sure." She said nontheless. "I might go get a bottle of water from the canteen though since i forgot mine today, you want me to go get you one?"
"If you don't mind."
"I don't mind at all!" The girl motioned for the giant to kneel down, when he did she quickly pecked him on the nose, causing him to blush. "I'll be right back."
Ushijima sat down on the seats and watched as the girl of his dreams walked off, the smell of her vanilla perfume lingering. Little did the giant know of the stalker in the bushes, ready to make their first move.

(Y/n) and the lunch lady became quite good friends, joking around, laughing, ofcourse it was when there was no que so they didn't disrupt the other students wanting to get something, but the six minutes they had everyday to talk was enough for them to become friends.
"So whats for it love?"
"Two bottles of water Barbra."
"Alrightly. Here. Have it on the house, well, school."
"No, no. I'll pay-"
"Nahh, have it. You make my day somewhat better than it was before so this is my thanks."
"Well.. Thanks a lot!"
"Don't stress it."

Ushijima quietly waits for Y/n to return before mentioning that he had to go to the bathroom. The girl just smiled innocently at him and motioned for him to hurry along.
