Chapter 5
It was Adie.
Believe me or not pero it's him. Impossible naman na makakakita siya. Now he's heading towards my direction. What should I do? Sofia, act normal.
"Oh, hi Sof, kanina ka pa diyan?"
"Ah-eh, oo, I'm just wandering this side of the school since I parked my bike here eh" I wonder if I'm too suspicious or what.
"You have bike pala? Sabay nalang tayo umuwi" I just nod as a response.
Nang makalabas kami ng gate, which was opened by our school's security guard, I can hear his murmurs. "Ang dilim na pero kung Ano ano pa ang ginagawa nila sa iskwelahan. Tsk! Mga bata nga naman." Nilingon ko ulit siya but iba yung nakita ko.
It was an angry ghost na pinapanood kaming lumalakad. She's really angry huh?! Hindi na niya kami sinundan pa kasi nag aaya na si Adie na umuwi. The skies are gloomy like it'll rain. Gladly I bought my bike with me, it won't be hard to travel.
Guess what! Ang village kung saan nakatira si Adie ay malapit lang sa amin. He lives in Lilac Ville while I'm in St. Joseph Ville. We parted ways since pedestrian lane lang naman ang pagitan ng entrances.
I went home na medyo basa na. Umaambon na kasi no'ng papasok na ako sa entrance. So what I did is to pedal harder and harder. Wala na akong pake doon sa mga nakikita kong ghost.
Dumiretso kaagad ako sa room then took a bath para hindi ako magkalagnat. Then I changed into my sleep ware and went down for dinner. Mom and I had a small talk, it's all about school lang naman. Then tinutok ko ang aking atensyon sa TV.
"Breaking news: May paparating na bagyo sa loob ng Philippine Area of Responsibility kaya asahan ang pag uulan. Laging magdala ng payong at tumutok lang sa radyo, TV at iba pa para sa ibang impormasyon. At susunod..."
So may bagyo? Kaya pala umambon kanina.

GOOD MORNING!! or should I say 'What a rainy Saturday morning'? Anyway, I changed my clothes because I want to visit the city's public library. Don't worry I won't stink, I took I nice warm bath. I'm cooking my own breakfast since Mom left me early kasi may work pa siya. But I woke up late today, and it's already 10:00 in the morning!!
So, what I cooked is my own garlic bread. Of course hindi literal na garlic bread. It was a shredded garlic, mixed in scrambled egg with scallions in it and I spread in into my loaf bread. And I toast it in a preheated pan with oil, flip it! My own garlic bread hahaa it tasted like garlic though. Whoa! What a long explanation.
After eating my so-called brunch, I bought my yellow umbrella and white jacket matched with my lemon yellow top and a denim jumper. I locked up all the doors especially the back door, front door and the gate. Mom had a duplicate one.
While walking down the rainy road, still the skies are gloomy. Nilibot ko ang aking paningin sa park, kung saan nandoon ang library. I enter the place at I roam around the shelves. I was attracted by the books, it's like a heaven for me. So kumuha ako ng mga books na I want to read at nilagay ko sa table na sentro ng chandelier. Kinuha ko ang notebook ko sa bag and started to take down notes.
Hindi ko na namalayan ang takbo ng or as, huli na nang nalaman ko na it's already 3 o'clock in the afternoon. Hindi rin ako nakaramdam ng gutom so I planned to go tho the nearest mall at babalig ulit dito later.

I bought Burger, large fries and green apple soda sa McDonald's. Hindi ako makapag dine in sa dami ng costumers so I told the cashier that I'll take it out nalang. I can eat it naman habang naglilibot libot around the mall eh. I went to different stores para sana bumili ng clothes, mostly t-shirts sana pero wala akong makitang bet ko.
Nang maubos ko na ang tinake out ko, pumunta ako sa DQ and I ordered my favourite mango flavoured sundae. Funny to say that my sundae and my outfit matched! I left the mall and I ate my sundae all the way to the public library. Pagpasok ko ay isinalubong ulit ako ng librarian nang isang bati, so I smiled at her as a response.
I went to the hidden part ng shelves para kunin yung mga books na hindi ko pa natapos basahin. Umupo ulit ako sa sentro ng chandelier at hindi ko akalaing mag isa nalang ako dito sa library. Also, the skies are so dark na akala mo'y 7 o'clock in the evening na pero it's only 4 in the afternoon. Hindi ko na pinansin ang panahon but someone caught my attention.
Someone sat on my table. I didn't mind him/her so I stand up and find other books.
While walking and wandering in the shelves, I felt some shivers through my spine. Maybe dahil sa panahon. But when I looked up, I saw someone...
It is not a human but a ghost, smiling wickedly above me. She touches my shoulder at umikot sakin at iniharap ako. She flew above again tsaka biglaang nilaglag ang mga libro mula sa shelves dahilan ng pagpikit ko at napasigaw ako. Ngunit...
Wala akong may naramdamang sakit. Only books na nagsisilaglag sa sahig. I looked up at may nagsabing...
"O-okay ka l-lang ba?"
