Chapter 9
A room. A hidden room.
Chained chair.
Bloody.
Dark and gloomy.
I am running through this endless hallway, again.
A very loud shout came from somewhere.
Ngunit bakit patuloy lang ako sa pagtakbo?
I sstpped. Infront of my locker. My locker which located at where I always felt the chills. My locker which is beside our room next to the teachers' door. Suddenly, I heard a loud shout....
*gasp* I continue to breathe heavily. I heard a running footsteps papuntang room ko.
"Sofia, anak, okay ka lang ba?" It was Mom. She looks so worried. "Narinig kitang parang binabangungot, so I rushed here and you looked so pale?! here, uminom ka ng tubig."
"Thanks Mom" i hugged her at uminom ng tubig na ibinigay niya sa akin.
i looked at my wall clock and it is only 3:00 in the afternoon. Did i slept that long?! I only remember that I was fainted while I was in my locker.
"By the way Mom, who bough me here?" I curiously asked.
"Oh, the school called me. They said that you fainted at hindi ka pa daw gumigising so I hurriedly rushed to your school and there, nakita kita sa loob ng clinic ninyo." Mom said. " Siya nga pala...your classmate helped me papunta dito sa bahay."
"Who is it Mom?"
"Si Adrien Felix, tama ba? He was the one who saw you fainted. You must thank him tomorrow ha!"
"Yes Mommy"
Then, mom left dahil daw sabing school doctor namin, kailangan ko daw ng pahinga so that I could gain more energy again.

The next day, after kong maligo, kumain ng breakfast at magprepare for school snabihan ako ni Mom na bawal daw muna akong mag bike. Baka daw himatayin ulit ako, so right now I am walking papuntang Bus Stop doon sa labas ng village. Hindi pa naman crowdy kasi maaga akong umalis sa bahay. At the shed, I saw someone so familiar.
ADIE?!
What is he doing here?!
I walked pass through him kaso hinawakan niya anag kamay ko.
"Your mom called me last night, babantayan daw kita"
"B-but---" he cutted me off.
"No Buts!...Here's the bus, sakay na"
Oh thanks Mom, now under na ako ni Adie, I have no choice kundi sundin mga utos niya. Well, it is Mom's command after all. Mom is just thinking about my safety. Paaano na kaya siya if may lukemia pala ako. Just kidding, that wont happen.
"Mom told me na you helped her kahapon, I wanted to say Thank you" I said.
"No problem...excuse din kaya ako kahapon because our school doctor said na tulungan ko daw yung mommy mo na dalhin ka sa bahay ninyo. I stayed there for 5 hours siguro or 4 hours looking after you kaya" he said with a grin.

Mula sa gate papuntang classroom, all eyes are on us.
Sino bang magtataka na bakit magkasama kaming dalawa, dala dala pa niya ang aking bag, he insisted to. then here's Jane, Leigh, Rouge and Reign na for sure i-interview-hin na naman kaming dalawa.
"Soooo-----" Panimula ni Jane.
"Anong 'Soooo'?" Tanong ko.
"We mean, so, kamusta ka na? Alalang alala kami dito sa'yo alam mo ba yun?"
" Hindi rin pumasok si Adie nung absent ka, can you explain to us?" tanong ni Reign na himalang hindi nagbabasa nang libro ngayon.
"Well, pumasok ako kahapon nang umaga pero nahimatay daw ako" sabi ko then Adie continued
"Timing naman na kakarating ko rin non sa locker ko when I saw Sofia fainted and I catched her then dinala sa clinic"
"I waited for her mom to arrive bago sana ako pumunta sa classroom but her mom needs help, the school doctor said na samahan ko yung mom niya on their way home at excuse daw kaming dalawa that day."
All went silent and they looked at each other.
"HALA, BAKIT SI ADIE NAKAPUNA NA SA HOUSE NINYO, WE HAVEN'T YET"
"Alam mo Leigh, ang isip bata mo. Syempre, emergency yun, kala mo naman eh birthday party" sabi ni Rouge
"tumigil ka nga!!!"
Himalang hindi sila nag patuloy sa pag aaway, well, maybe dahil may pinaguusapan kami.
"Eh bakit kayo magkasabay papunta dito sa school ngayong umaga?" panuksong tanong ni Jane.
"Alam mo naman si Mommy, mula nang mawala si Dad ay naging over protective siya. Huli ko na nalaman na kinontact niya si Adie na bantayan daw ako mula umaga hanggang pag uwi, so ito ang nangyari" pag eexplain ko sa kanila ulit.
Nakangiti silang lahat, nakangiting may halong tukso.
"What's with your faces?" tanong ko.
"Oh dont be so blind Sofie, tingin tingin ka rin sa paligid mo at sa mga taong nandiyan para sa'yo" nagloading yung utak ko sa sinabi ni Reign, I don't really understand what she's talking.
"Pupunta ba kayo mamaya sa Library? maybe I can join you" pang aaya ni Adie.
"Oh yeah, I nearly forgotten that after nang one week na Club Fare hindi tayo makapasok sa loob ng building"
"We must continue our research, yeah?" Masiglang sabi ni Leigh
"Remember, mamayang lunch and after the last afternoon classes ha!" We all agreed at bumalik sa proper seats namin dahil after nang matagal na pag e-explain ay dumating ang 1st subject teacher namin.
