Chapter 7

Sunday morning,
Rain is falling🎶

It is such a cold Sunday morning, as what I've heard in the news, magla-landfall na daw ang isinabing bagyo somewhere in the Philippines. I'm here sitting at my table looking at the window while drinking a milk. Trees are moving because of the strong wind na mula pa kahapon. Almost wala nang lumalabas ng bahay nila, there's a possibility na baka malaglagan sila ng sanga ng kahoy or what, delikado.

I went home safely last night, thanks to Adie. Hindi niya man lang ako sinabihang may dala siyang sasakyan. I didn't mind the ghost na mukhang galit na galit sakin. But one thing that's still bothering me ay yung sinabi niya kahapon.

"Don't worry because starting today, you won't let you cry alone"

"From now on, you have my shoulder--"

"--you have my shoulder to lean and to cry on"

What's happening to me!!

Okay, Sofia, everything will be fine, just---just don't be such a crybaby!

Good morning! It is Monday and it's our club fair for one week! Seems too long right? Well, everyone has their own club fare in other schools since it's just new semester. We have to do a lot of preparations, well just the seniors, but we have to help to. But since it's another year, another club to join.

We had an orientation first, some speech from the principal and introducing the clubs with their moderators. I didn't pay attention in the program because all I can hear is murmus.

'Psstt! Joshua, sali tayo sa sports club!'

'Girl, saan tayo sasali?'

'Alam mo, yung club daw na yan ay creepy'

'Hey, doon tayo sa Math club, bahala na kahit bobo tayo! Gwapo naman yung bagong moderator hahaha'

Everyone had their own choices already while I'm just sitting here, not even listening, just sitting.

I roam around the quadrangle kung saan nandoon ang mga club booths. Pagandahan ng booths to eh, just kidding! So I was with Jane earlier and she had a list of all clubs. It was-

History club- where all historians gathered up together
Theatre club- almost like emcee's, actresses and actors, broadcasters and writers gathered up together also!
Science club- those so-called-scientists of the school
Sports club- volleyball, basketball, tennis, ping-pong, martial arts, and badminton players are all here
Art club- those artists who do a mural paintings every school year, they are so talented!
Music club- those who have a good voice, they are the one who are singing during masses here at our school. We really acknowledge them.
Library club- where all geeks, bookworms and nerds are
Culinary club- they are the cooks! Everytime there are outreach programs, they're always present.
Math club- just, all geniuses are.

So many huh?! So yeah, as I roam around, I can hear someone calling out my name.

"Sofiaaa!"

"Hoy!"

So, meet Alex, Louisiana Alexey Piz, one of my circle of friends. She's in the other section actually. One of the fashionista, not literally a fashionista. She just like wearing fancy yet decent clothes, matching to some of her jewelry and other stuff. She's the vice president of the culinary club which is a good thing. And here's the catch, maingay din siya kagaya nina Leigh at Rouge.

"Oo na, sasali ulit ako sa club" sabi ko

"Yeeey! 3 years and counting ha? Next year dito ka ulit ha, magse-seminar tayo doon sa isang bakery para kahit papano ay magiging active ang club natin"

Hindi na ako ininterview dahil so-called OG member na ako and since it's our junior years, the seniors will going to be busy, they need us to help them.

"So saan pala sina Kambal, Leigh, at Jane?" Tanong niya

"As you already know, ang Kambal ay brainy so for sure nandoon sila sa Math club. Si Leigh, Ewan, baka nandon sa Sports club. Then si Jane, syempre student council padin" pag eexplain ko sa kanya.

"Ah, tayo na naman ulit ang naiwan dito sa club. Bahala na! Mga salbahe!"

"Hahahahaha!"

Ang daming freshmen na sumali sa club which is a jackpot for us, they're really interested when it comes to cooking. I really hope they'll enjoy their stay here for this whole school year.

"So let's call it a day then!" Sabi ng club President namin. What a tiring day, tomorrow, there's another batch of kids to face.

We all did the same thing with our friends, wait to them and go home together!

There's nothing creepy or unusual thing happened today, himala nga eh! And why I haven't seen Adie the whole day?
