Chapter 3

KURT

I wake up with a cold sweat. I'm about to just go back to sleep when I hear Finn's voice.

"Kurt. You okay?" He asks. I try to talk but I just bust out into a fit of tears. I hear feet running towards my room and I turn on my lamp, seeing Finn shirtless, as usual when he sleeps, and breathing heavily. I just cry and hold my hands out. He climbs into my bed and holds me. I breathe in the scent of him.

"Finn."

"Yeah?"

"Will you sleep in here? I've been having nightmares since I got here, and now that you're here, I don't wanna be alone," I say, my voice fading out at the end.

"Of course." He says. I bury my face in his neck and savor the moment. I guess I do love him.

"Can we sing?" I ask.

"Sure. What do you wanna sing?"

"Ghostin'" I say. Finn chuckles and my heart races.

We finish the song and I look into Kurt's eyes. He looks into mine.

"I love you too," he says, "but I can't be with you right now. I need to get over Blaine," Kurt says. I smile and kiss his cheek.

"It's okay. Take all the time you need," I say.

"When do you have to go back?"

"My flight leaves tomorrow," I say. He looks down.

"Oh," he says.

"Why?"

"Well. I was kind of hoping you would live with me," he says. My eyes widen.

"You don't have to hope anymore. I'm gonna live with you, Kurt," I say.

"Really? Thank you so much, Finn," he says, kissing my cheek.

"I would do anything for you, Kurt," I say.

"I know." He says, yawning, "I'm tired." He cuddles into my chest and my heart flutters.

"Go to sleep. We can spend all day together tomorrow," I say. He nods and almost instantly falls asleep.
