I decided to have my class in the great hall today and every one was spread out along the tables I walked around checking on students work, I had the current seventh years. I just wanted a calm class so I had them studying before the halloween week. I never gave them long assignments during that week so I just had them studying. It was Friday afternoon so my last class of the week.

The class ended with no problems and as my students began to leave Harry, Ron and Hermione came running into the great hall and up to me.

"Professor we have a few questions."

"Yes?" I looked down at them

"Why is the third floor off limits?" Harry asked

"Why do you want to know this?" I asked

"Just Uhm wondering" Ron said showing a nervous smile

"What's on that floor is between the teachers and professor Dumbledore, you three better not be meddling in things you are not to be meddled with. Now if you three have any other questions feel free to ask them" they shook there heads and went to walk away but I grabbed Harry's shoulder, Hermione and Ron stoped.

"You two go. I have to speak to mr potter" I said and they walked away

"Harry what are you and your friends planing." I asked him having him sit down on the bench and I sat down beside him

"Nothing professor" he said

"You're just like your father, bad at lying." I let out a small laugh and Harry smiled

"We were walking and got lost we got onto the third floor and filch was coming so we hid in a room. There was a three headed dog and it almost ate us! But I seen a trap door and we are wondering about it" Harry said so only I could here

"Oh harry. Stay away from that dog and sat away from that trap door. That is very dangerous and you will get hurt and so will your friends. Be careful, don't go meddling in things you should" I said and he nodded, he stood up

"Will do professor" he said and walked away

We were in the great hall eating dinner and I was chatting with professor snape. It was Halloween and the great hall was decorated accordingly, I noticed quirrell wasn't at dinner, where the hell was that fool. I was just thinking when he came running in panicked and out of breath.

"There's a trolll! In the dungeon!" He yelled before fainting I rolled my eyes and the students began to painic and get up. The teachers stood up and Dumbledore stood up and yelled, everyone stopped. He ordered the students to follow there prefects to there common rooms and the teachers go and check the dungeon, severus and I began to follow Dumbledore and Minerva. The sound of my heels and there shoes could be heard as we quickly made our way through the coridors and stairs. As soon as we got to the dungeon we heard things being smashed and then a loud bang on the floor. We ran into the girls bathroom to see ron and Harry together with Hermione.

"Okay you three explain your self right now" I said stepping over broken wood Harry was going to say something but Hermione cut him off

"I read about trolls. And I went searching for it. If it wasn't for Harry and Ron I could have been dead" she said

"Well you two boys got lucky. Not many people can take down a troll and live to tell the tale" Minerva said once the teachers finished there bit and left, I didn't noticed severus was still there and I bent down to there level and look at the three right and front of me

"I know that's not what happened. Are you okay?" I asked checking there faces for wounds

" yes we're okay" Ron said and I smiled to them
