Chapter 13 - beach date

Sana's pov
After eating at the café we walk out of that place, people still looking at us, eating there makes me uncomfortable.

After I and taehyung got back to his car he started driving.

"You alright?" he asked me as he put his seatbelt as I did the same.

"Yeah, just embarrassed and uncomfortable," I said giving him a small smile.

"I'll take you somewhere else where you can relax and find peace," he said showing his box smile that instantly made me smile.

"Where are we going?" I asked as he started driving.

"To the beach" he replied, when we were dating I told him I wanted to go to the beach, but he was always busy, I didn't understand it back then, now I do, he has work.

A 20-minute drive we arrive at the beach, there are no people in the area.

"Let's go," he said smiling as he took his seatbelt off and opened the door.

I did the same but he races me to the door again, he opened it for me again.

"You don't have to do that," I told him as I got out of the car, he closed the door again.

"I didn't do that when we were dating back then, so I wanted to try," he said smiling.

"Oh..." I said speechless.

"let's go!" he said as he interwinds his hand into mine as he drags me to the sand.

We stopped and took our shoes off, I just took my sandals off and taehyung took off his fila shoes.

He then drags me to the water, the cold water hit my feet.

"Isn't this fun?" taehyung asked as he splashed me with some water.

"TAEHYUNG! I'm GONNA GET WET!" I said as he continued splashing me with water.

"Who cares," he said giggling, I started to splash him back with some water but his hands are too big and can slash more water so...I lost.

We giggled and laugh as we continued playing like 5-year-olds.

After we got tired we decided to go deeper to the water, not that deep, only below my knees if I say so myself.

A big wave then splashed to the shore and it carried me, I fell down.

"Are you okay?" taehyung asked as he helped me I giggled.

"Yeah I'm fine," I said giggling.

we stood there looking at the sun that is about to set.

"Let's get out, the waves are getting stronger" I suggested he nodded.

We started going back to the shore I was kinda having trouble because of the wave so taehyung hold my hand and helped me walked.

After reaching the sad area where we leave our shoes we sat down and looked at the sunset.

"who knew, I could act like a 5-year-old with you" taehyung suddenly talked, I look at him.

"hmm? What do you mean?" I asked he then looked at me, his eyes meeting mine.

"When we were officially together I acted immaturely, I acted so cold," he said as he followed it with a sigh.

"Can I ask why you did that? I mean you were so sweet then you suddenly changed" I said trying to get an explanation.

"Cause... I'm trying to make you hate me, for you to leave me, so you can feel less hurt when you'll leave me, I saw all the comments about you on the internet, I don't want that to continue so I acted that way, so you'll leave me, once you left me, I felt disappointed in myself, I told myself to should have just kept you and just to ignore and keep out the hate against us" he said he looked down to the sand midway as he was talking, his eyes, I can see it, I can see how much despair he felt when I left him.

"I'm sorry," we both said at the same time, we look at each other.

"Why are you sorry? I'm the one who should have been sorry" he said.

"No, even if you acted that way I still wouldn't leave you, I left you cause of the hate, not because the way you've treated me, I'm sorry," I said looking down, he used his hands to make look at him, he lifts my chin up with his hands gently.

"I'm sorry," he said I smiled at him.

"I forgive you already," I said smiling at him, then the sun finally set, it was all dark now, I can only see taehyung's face glowing in the dark like an angel.

He let go of my chin and stood up, he helped me stood up, we picked our shoes up and went back to his car.

He dropped me off at my house, today I felt so happy, the bond I have with him today wasn't the same where we were together back then, back then we can barely see each other, he was keeping me away from everyone, but now, his proud of showing me to everyone even tho we aren't together anymore
