Aleigha’s POV
I looked up at Joey, “I… I can’t tell you.” He lets go of me and walks to the door. “I thought you could tell me anything, I guess not. I’ll see you later.” With that he walked out and I was back in my bed.
I pull out my phone and send out two simple texts, the first one to Seb, “Can you meet me tonight at my car at 8?” The second to Rory, “Can you meet me at the Lima Bean in 30?” I got a reply from both with in seconds, they both said the same thing, “Of Course! See you then,”
Rory’s POV
“Of Course! See you then,” I sent back within seconds, I thought to myself finally, I’ll get her to myself. I walk out to the Peirce living room and grab the keys to my car and leave a brief note explaining where I was, and headed off to meet with Aleigha.
I arrive almost 10 minuets before she does. I wave her over and she runs up and attacks me in a hug, “Hi stranger! I’ve missed you.” I hug her back, I can tell she’s been crying but I don’t say anything. “I’ve missed you too A! Sit down.”
We sit down and I hand her a hot chocolate, her favorite. She smiles and takes a sip. “So, what’s up?” I ask her hoping she’ll say why she’s been crying. “Oh, nothing, actually I reunited with an old aquanice this morning. He’s so different now.” She smiles as she talks about this new friend. Another guy to compete with.. great. was all I could think about.
Aleigha’s POV
I tell him all about Seb and about how much he’s changed. Rory didn’t seem like himself today. As I was getting up to leave he pulled me into a hug and whispered, “I love you Aleigha,” and he kissed me…
I pushed him away, “WHAT THE HECK! Rory, I have a boyfriend!” He looked down, “I know, but I wanted you to know how much I care about you! I could be so much better than that loser! Please think about it? Didn’t you feel ANYTHING?” I looked at him, “No, I didn’t, goodbye Rory.”
With that I ran out of the shop, I have to tell Seb. was all I could think about as I drove back to Dalton. I turned on my radio to drown out the thoughts of him. The hard part was One Direction was on and all I could think about was Nail and his Irishness… Why me?
I called Blaine as I drove,
B: Hello?
A: Dare? Are you alone?
B: No, I’m with Jamie, why?
A: Put it on speaker, I need to tell you something.
I told them the whole story about what happened at the Lima Bean after swearing them to secrecy.
J: DID you feel anything?
A: NO! I didn’t I wanted to but I didn’t! I can’t tell Joey! I just can’t!
J: You won’t have to..
A: What do you mean?
J: Well, Rory has been giving Joey a hard time, that’s why he flipped yesterday with the whole Sebastian thing. He’s been telling Joey you’re too good for him and deserve someone better. I bet you he’ll tell Joey this too. You need to go talk to him.
A: I’ve tried but he wont answer his phone and he’s not at his dorm.
J: Check the practice room. Trust me…
B: Yeah, He’s there, has been all day.
A: Thanks guys! Love ya both, I gotta go.
J & B: BYE!
I quickly called Sebastian to reschedule our dinner and headed to the practice room hoping to fix everything…
