February 2nd, another big party was being thrown yet again at the Kambe residence. Suzue was a natural at greeting and entertaining the guests. Daisuke on the other hand, eh... not so much. He had no care for such frivolous gatherings. Truth be told, he rather be at work with his coworkers eating fish candies.

"Oh lighten up big brother, it is your birthday party we're celebrating." Suzue came towards him with two drinks in her hand.

Daisuke took the glass she handed to him and sniffed it. He glared at her.

"You're not good at handling your alcohol level. It's just cider." Suzue commented on his light alcohol intolerance.

Daisuke brushed it off and drank it anyway. "You're the only reason I'm staying sane at this uncalled for party father set up. It's all for his benefits." He irritably remarked.

"Gotta look good for society. To two-faced people!" She cheered and laughed at her brother's poker face.

A sea of visitors had whisked his sister away, much to his disappointment. So, he took to the balcony to cool off a bit. When he walked through the double doors, he saw he'd have company while here. More like she was going to have a company.

Daisuke cleared his throat, startling the young girl. She quickly turned to look behind her to meet icy blue eyes staring back at her. She apologized and was about to leave but Daisuke stopped her. "No it's okay." he walked up to the railing.

The two stood there in silence, neither really offering to start a conversation. Daisuke couldn't help but take a peak at the young girl beside him. Shockingly, she was dressed in simple garnets yet it only increased her beauty. Racking through his sharp memory, he does note meeting a family who dressed respectfully rather than ravishingly.

"Are you by any chance a part of the (L/N) family?" Daisuke asked her.

Yet again startled, she replied, "Uh yes I am. Their youngest, (F/N). Pleasure to meet you." (Y/N) slightly bowed her head. Formalities were always a must at such gatherings, especially at the rich estate of the Kambe's.

"You were missing during greetings." He glanced at her.

(Y/N) felt her cheeks heat up, "Such large, ravishing parties aren't my thing. I'd rather be home with my cat and watching television." she shyly admitted. Little did she know it was the man of the party she was admitting it to.

Daisuke could relate, though he would rather do something else than what the girl beside him mentioned. "Likewise." he agreed.

"Would you rather go somewhere else?" Daisuke asked. He was strangely interested in the youngest (L/N).

"Huh?" (Y/N) was confused. "I can ask my butler to arrange us a helicopter to take us wherever you'd like." Daisuke now fully turned towards her.

(Y/N) bewilderedly stared at the man in front of her. "I don't think I would get on a helicopter with a man I do not know."

"Daisuke Kambe, apologies for not introducing myself earlier."

"Kambe..." (Y/N)'s 'eyes widened. She quickly looked up to look at him smirking her way. Her face flushed remembering telling him she wasn't enjoying his party.

"I-I'm sorry, I-" Daisuke cut her off. "I'll prepare the helicopter. I rather be at the beach." he told HEUSC to prepare the helicopter.

(Y/N) was not sure where he was talking but it didn't matter. As long as she can leave.

"In the meantime as we wait," the two could hear the loud music from inside, "Can I have this dance?"

Maybe the party won't be so bad after all for them.
