I hated this. Acting this dumb was pretty hard. I had to though, somebody here was in danger.
Katelyn looked very confused.
"Ok, Annabeth. What do you want?" she asked.
"I heard that you tutor! From Penelope. We're both kinda confused on how because of your dyslexia-," she cut me off.
"Okay, is there a point to this or are you just trying to aggressively remind me that I have dyslexia? Because if so, I got it thanks."
Fuck. I was saying all the wrong things. "No I just wanted a tutor is all."
"I'm fully booked. Look for someone else." She said with a cold tone.
"Are you sure?" I asked as she started to get up.
She turned to me, visibly annoyed. "Yes. I'm sure." With that, she turned and walked out of the library.
I groaned this was hard, really hard. I was kinda wishing Chiron hadn't asked us to do this.
Flashback
"Percy, wake up," I said shaking him. He groaned. "Chiron wants to talk to us! Percy!"
"Ugh. Do I have to go?"
I rolled my eyes. "Get dressed, " I said smiling.
I made my way to the big house. I was scared. What did Chiron want? Just then Percy came up behind me. "You left without me!" He said pouting. I giggled.
"You were taking too long, " I said. I gave him a kiss on the cheek. He was still pouting.
We made our way into the big house and sat down.
"Thank you for coming, " Chiron said. "Thanks to the promise the gods made after the Titan war, demigods have been appearing left and right. Which means satyrs are very busy."
I was scared as to where he was going with this.
"I need your help. I need you to go undercover, " Chiron awaited our response.
"Oh, we have a choice?" Percy said, "That's a first. Sure I mean if Annabeth's okay with it, " he answered.
"Of course we'll do it! Where are we going?" I asked.
"Colbourn High School, " Chiron said
Chiron filled us in on the school. We decided that I would finally live up to my dumb blonde stereotype and that Percy would be a jock. Lucky for him swimming was their main sport. We also decided that it could be dangerous hanging around each other. If there were monsters it would attract some unwanted attention.
End of flashback
What I had wished I'd known was how hard this was gonna be.
