𝐃𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕
Waking up the next morning I think about the events that took place. Aaminah was strong enough to get out of bed and go out. If I was in her position I would be hibernating for a few days or even weeks.
She told me she has better things to do than mope, but I know it wasn't true. She wanted to do stuff so she wouldn't have to stay home and think about the rejection over and over again. Yesterday we left the mansion we drove to the Gilbert's house and she dropped the supernatural bomb onto Jenna. I give Aaminah props for completely ignoring Klaus.
The best part of yesterday was when Jenna finally saw the real Elena. I don't know what it is about Aaminah and her bringing out people's true emotions, but it is magnificent. Jenna ended up coming with us to the Lockwood Mansion because Aaminah wanted to see Carol since she's like a mother to her.
On our way over there Aaminah and I explained everything to Jenna. To say Jenna was angry was an understatement. But I would be too if I was the only left in the unknown and unprotected in the supernatural world.
The worst part of that day was when we got to the Lockwood house and she met Elijah.
𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤
Pulling up to the Lockwood Manor I knew something was off. When Aaminah got out of the car she begins to run towards the door, eager to see Carol, I stopped her mid-step. Sniffing the air, I finally smell the scent of Elena and Elijah.
"There's someone here and it's not Carol."
I lowly growl.
After her begging me to go inside, we finally do and she comes face to face with Elijah.
"Who are you? Damon, Jenna, why are you all here?"
He asks in confusion.
"I'm Aaminah Gilbert. Who are you?"
She states and then asks.
"I'm here because my girl is here looking for Carol."
I tell him gesturing to Aaminah and he looks at me in shock.
"I'm here because I want to be."
Jenna says shrugging.
"Damon, I thought you were in love with Elena, perhaps even a little obsessed. And I'm Elijah Mikealson."
As soon as Mikealson slips out of his mouth I hear her take in a sharp breath and I chose to ignore his comment and just smile.
"As in Niklaus Mikealson."
She says barely over a whisper. His face becomes hard and he glares at her causing me to growl.
"How do you know my brother!"
He growls out. Almost instantly her demeanor changed.
"How dare you yell at me, you pompous asshole. Never! And. I mean NEVER, growl at me again. Disrespectful bitch."
Her voice sounds in powerful bellows.
