Chapter 6

"Wahhhhh!!!"

Ace and Sabo was awaken by the loud wail of their little brother, both was awoken abruptly.

"What the?!"

"Luffy?!"

Ace, because of the sudden sound, quickly grabbed his pipe and went into his fighting mode. Meanwhile, Sabo was still confused but was frantically looking around, trying to spot his their little brother.

In the end, their eyes landed on Luffy, who was miraculously sitting behind them. Tears were falling nonstop on his face as he cried, trying to wipe his face but failed to.

Sabo suddenly became wide awake and ran beside Luffy. "Luffy, what wrong?" He asked worriedly.

Ace clicked his tongue, "The hell are you being noisy about early in the morning?"

"A-Ace! Sabo! M-My phone...." Luffy said, his words being more harder to discern because of his frantic sobs.

"Yeah, what about it?" Ace asked, not understanding the situation.

However, Sabo seemed to know what it was about. But before he could asked something about it, Luffy already blurted out the problem.

"Ace, It's missing! Wahhh!"

Ace frowned and title his head, before his mind process what Luffy had just said.

"WHAT?!" He screamed in disbelief.

Luffy didn't answer, or it's just that he can't because he was crying too hard. After all, he had promised Reina that he would take care of that phone no matter what. This past two days, he wouldn't even let Ace and Sabo touch it, nor does it have any signs of scratches. It was the same as how Reina gave it to him, and this feat of not breaking the phone shocked not only Sabo and Ace, but also Dadan and the other members of her fraternity.

I mean, who could have thought that Luffy could actually keep that phone shining and unscratched.

Sabo frowned and started to get worried, "Could it be..."

"Yeah, it's no doubt. Those bastards arrived much earlier than we expected." Ace finished, also frowning.

Hearing their words, Luffy pause and angrily stood up.

"So it's those bastards?! That's it! I'm gonna kicked their asses!" Luffy angrily said, quickly running past his two older brother.

The two was too late to realized and before they knew it, Luffy was already out of the room.

"Sh*t!" Ace cursed and quickly ran towards the door with Sabo.

Sabo also began to panicked once he snapped out of his confusion.

"This is bad!"

*Ringggg....Ringggg*

The soft ringings of Phone happens to break the silence inside the bar as Reina raised her eyebrow, gulping down the last shot of her beer.

"Makino-chan, here's my payment. Sorry I didn't show up these past few days. Work just got on the line, I had no choice but to mind it first." Reina said, smiling apologetically at Makino.

Makino giggled and wave her hand. "No, it's alright. Even if you don't pay I won't mind. After all, I'll just brushed it off since you're my friend."

"Wow, Friends huh?" Reina then chuckled, ignoring her phone as she continue to talked to Makino. "Then do you mind if I don't pay this things?" She asked jokingly, pointing at the empty plates and a bottle of beer.

Makino pouted playfully, "No way. A rich friend like you should be a spendthrift at your friend's bar." She said before smiling, "After all, worked first before living."

Reina furrowed her brows, before bursting into a fits of laugh as she understood what Makino meant.

"Is it because without work, there's no money?" Reina asked as she laugh at the meaning.

Makino nodded, "Without money for the bar, I swear I wouldn't be able to fend for myself." She said with a smile.

Reina smiled amusedly, "That doesn't sound true. After all, the townsfolks love you and your bar dearly, so even if you became homeless there would be countless of people who would offer you their home." She said before pouring herself a drink.

Reina sigh, "But it's good to used what you work hard for. I think the saying 'Chose yourself before others' was what fitted the current society." She said a little zoned out, her eyes unfocused like she was remembering something. Then suddenly, an unknowing emotion flashed through her eyes as she smiled.

"Yeah, there's some truth in those words." Makino said as she smiled and turn her attention from wiping some glass cups to Reina. Makino paused and noticed Reina was zoning out so she put the cup away worriedly.

"Rei-san, is there something wrong?" Makino asked, but she was ignored, more like the person didn't hear her. Makino blink and tap Reina in the shoulder, causing the girl to flinched. "Rei-san, are you alright?"

Reina blinked and look up, meeting Makino's concerned eyes. Then she realized she dozed off.

She smiled and laugh awkwardly, "Yeah. I'm alright, just thinking about something."

She said, then noticed her phone was still ringing nonstop. She frowned and reach towards it, since it was placed in the counter table.

She stared at the callers ID and it was her secretary. Without a care, Reina quickly turn off her phone and glance at the time.

"Oh, I'm kinda late." She said out loud, causing Makino to look at her in confusion.

Reina sigh and smiled, "Makino-chan, I'll be back."

"Eh? Where are you going?"

"I'm planning to adopt Luffy."

"Ehhh?!"

Makino gasp and look at Reina in surprise. She blink before processing what Reina said.

"I think that wouldn't be easy." Makino said.

Reina raised her eyebrow, "Why? Is there something I should know?" She asked confusedly.

Makino smiled, "If you wanted to adopt Luffy, you also have to adopt his two brothers."

"Ha?..." Reina let out a sound of confusion before realizing what it meant. "Oh, I see...", Then, she grinned. "So I'll just have to take those two with us then." She said like it doesn't matter.

Makino sweat dropped, unsure whether Reina fully understand. However, she just smiled and bid Reina goodbye.

After all, she was sure that Reina could handle this matter by herself.
