Chapter 10

*Spat....*

With three teens (with one kid) on her arms, Reina's breath hitched at the moment she felt something coming their way.

Without a second thought, Reina securely hugged the three before jumping away from their current position, dodging a what's look like a slim ball.

However, Reina flinched the moment she witnessed what happened at the ground they were standing a moment ago. The "Slim Ball" was actually a "Spit Ball", and worse, that spit ball seemed to be acid.

"The grounds melting!" Sabo said, fear evident in his eyes as he and his two brothers witnessed the same thing.

Ace bit his lips, "If we got hit by those, we'll surely gonna die!" He said.

"I don't wanna die!" Luffy screamed, causing Ace and Sabo to be annoyed.

"WE WONT DIE SO SHUT UP!" The two yelled, causing Luffy to become silent.

On the other hand, Reina was looking at the ground with interest, seemingly not caring about the situation and that the same thing that cause the ground to melt was still around them.

She pursed her lips, her thumb and pointer finger holding her chin as she hugged herself with her free arm.

"Invisibility, Acid Spit and Intelligence. Wow, this kind of snake was rare to see." She muttered before grinning, "I'm excited to taste this kind of thing." She excited said.

Hearing that, Ace and Sabo's little fury was now directed at Reina.

"WE HAVEN'T EVEN BEAT IT YET!" They said, causing the beauty to laugh.

Reina put them down and ruffled their heads with a smile. She clearly saw a slight panicked in their eyes, and a little fear towards the Spit Ball of Acid. But within those eyes, she could see that they could more or less handled this if they just think clearly.

"Don't worry. I'll deal with it so you three better stay here." She said assuringly.

Ace's lips twitch, "You think we can't fight?" He asked in anger, thinking that Reina was underestimating them.

The said girl blink before shaking her head left and right, "Not really. Unless you could fight something you can't even see, then I'll willingly watched you from afar."

With that, Ace fell silent, at loss for words. After all, she's right. They doesn't know where the snake is, and even the fact that it's invisible was a new knowledge to them.

Realizing that, Ace catched into something. "Wait....Did you just said, invisible?!"

"Yeah. It has been spying on us the moment we stepped three meters away from it's nest." Reina bluntly informed them, like the information was painfully obvious.

"But why didn't it attacked us?" Luffy asked.

Sabo sigh, "Because it's smart."

"Huh?"

Ace snicker at Luffy's obliviousness, "Yeah, I think it's smarter than you, Luffy."

"Hey!"

Reina blink and then laugh. "Like I said, you better stay here."

"How about we get the eggs while you fight?" Sabo suggested.

"No." Reina quickly answered, seriousness was evident in her tone.

Luffy blink, "But why not? We'll be of help that way!"

Hearing that, Reina shook her head and sigh. "An Anaconda laying eggs was a little rare, since usually, the eggs hatched inside the mother's body. There's only seven of it, and snakes could lay about hundreds of them."

"So you mean to say there's more snakes in there?" Ace asked, causing Reina to smile, clearly not expecting Ace to be the first one to realized her words.

"Yeah. I think you have an idea how lethal they could be. I have yet to see how poisonous it is, but just the saliva alone was enough to kill a normal person." She explained calmly, keeping an eye towards the Snake, who froze in it's spot after seeing her glowing eyes.

Because of a certain reason that her back was now faced against the three and they did not even know what's happening, not even wondering why the snake haven't made a move yet.

"I don't understand." Luffy stated, tilting his head at the side.

Sabo chuckled while Ace rolled his eyes, "It'll be shocking if you did." He stated.

"Hey! That's not nice!" Luffy said and pouted.

Reina smiled. She ignore the three who continue their bickering and instead, turned to the side and took out a small sword, which has been strapped with her belt the whole time.

"I've been thinking what kind of dish would fit for a special like you." Reina said, her eyes glowing violet as she smiled "kindly" towards the now visible being.

A minute later, about 2 minutes has passed, on the ground now lays a huge Anaconda, the biggest one the Three young kids have ever seen.

It's eyes was completely the same size when Luffy was six, and obviously, it's body was double the size. It's stomach was pure white and the scale was a beautiful shade of maroon, with a noticeable brown specks.

Luffy was jumping happily at the head of the Anaconda while Ace was poking it's side, trying to see whether it could still move or not.

On the other hand, Sabo looked around with uncertain emotion. The ground, the trees and even the bush, you could see it melting, obviously that the snake happens to spit on it's "victim" but to the Snakes dismay, it's victim was sly as fox, always being always to dodge in time. In the end, the poor forest ended up in a mess.

Sabo looked look at the Anaconda and glance at Reina, pointing at the snake.

"This...Is this really edible?" He asked, doubt could be heard in his voice.

Well, who wouldn't? Just a glance and you could see how poisonous and dangerous the Anaconda is, and it was doubtful to hear that this kind of snake filled with venow are actually edible.

Reina laugh, "Don't worry. This kind of thing has a process. I'll make sure you won't get poisoned." She said with a very assuring smile.

Feeling assured, Sabo smiled back. "You must be a great cook then."

"No really." Reina laugh and walked towards where the Eggs are, motioning Sabo to stay there and watched Ace and Luffy, since the two was busy "playing" at the moment.

Knocking the smaller snakes out, Reina tied them all together, making sure that none had escaped her eagle like vision.

Then, finally, the second reason and the best ingredient to have in a plate of breakfast, the Big Eggs!

"Sabo, Ace, Luffy, come here and helped." Reina called, grabbing the attention of the kids.

Quickly like wind, they appeared in front of Reina, looking excitedly as ever.

Reina giggled and pointed at the eggs, "Luffy will carry one and the both of you will have to carry each with me." She said, motioning towards the two who nodded in understanding.

Ace furrowed his eyebrow, "How about the huge snake?" He asked, pointing at the knock out giant.

Smiling, Reina relied. " I'll have some help from people in carrying them." She said before grabbing two out of the seven eggs, "Now let's go, we wouldn't want to further delay breakfast now do we?"

"Yeah!"
