The burning ash and residue of the earth set fire to my lungs and forced a cough as I awoke to what was soon to be a nightmare of chaos and true tragedy
I have to live...
I have to go through this task once more... After death I was promised paradise for my good behavior. And now for what? My light brown hair is unrecognizable from the dark cinder in the air, my face smeared with demon blood and the scar on my temple where Maria sentenced me to death once more. This world is baren and dark with the suffocating promise of danger and fear. My white dress is now black and my brown eyes blinded by filth from the surrounding air.
"Hello!?"
My voice echoed across the valley.I'm alone...
Fear filled my thoughts as I planned for survival. Suddenly I heard rustling from the debris.
A man ascended from the shadows
The light glistened against his tanned cheeks refining the honey brown eyes. His lips parted slightly to speak
"Beautiful morning... Isn't it Gloria?""It's morning?" I asked as I squinted through the beams of light that poured through the cracks of the clouds. "This is... Earth?" I was finally able to admit digging out of my denial. "A-and you are?" I rubbed my eyes trying to get the sutt out.
