"Maria" I pronounced the last syllable carefully. She brought her tiny hand up to the dark fence reaching for me through the gap. My curiosity overcame me and I decided to take a closer look. I stepped closer. Her hand reached for my lose fitted white dress and lifted me with her small frail hand, twisting my collar and lifting me from the ground. She brought her other hand to her thin lips and bit her finger hard enough to draw dark crimson liquid. I kicked and squirmed but my efforts where in vain. She raised her blood dipped finger up to my forehead as I squeezed my eyes shut.

I suddenly felt the blow of a body and the cold grass blades against my cheek and brought my self up with shaking palms. I look over quickly to see who had saved me from Maria's grasp.

Gloria.

Maria's blood smeared onto her forehead.
"Terrae" the little blonde girl on the other side of the fence chanted.

Gloria vanished evaporated into small specks of light.

"Gloria!" I yelled her name as if it would bring her back. I felt the heat of my anger rush up to my head and tears swell up in my burning eyes. I ran towards the tall black fence with the little frail girl on the other side. Once I came close enough for her to grab me again her blue eyes lost their pigment becoming grey and hollow. She fell back her blonde hair following. Revealing Arch Angel Gabriel and a blood soaked silver dagger adorned with a golden hilt.

"Payton." That serious and yet graceful tone again.

He appeared in front of me.

"You're reckless don't severe from the lights again"

His hand embraced my shoulder. When I look up to apologize I was suddenly in a crowd of lights.

"Curfew! Everyone set up in constellations of three!"

I met up with Michael and Celine. We sat on white puffy quilts by a warm fire.

"Story time?" Celine asked Michael with a grin ear to ear. Michael laughed and responded with a nod his blonde curls bouncing with every movement.

"How about the First Angel?" He asked. Celine's hazel eyes widened and looked over at me a big smile framed with straight bright carmel colored braids reaching for her shoulders.

"Ok so once upon a time... God grew lonely for all his creations where so magnificent and grand. He felt so belittled for he had no one to share his miracles with. And so he came up with the idea of creating a being who possessed Grace, beauty, and kindness. He created this being with soil from The Garden of Eden and molded it into beauty. He then colored and shaped it with holy fire giving the being grace. He let the being unto the the soils of earth and let it  embrace the beauty of earth. But she as well grew lonely basking in Gods glory. God created tiny creatures to live on earth at the time they where called animals. Prototypes if you will"

"Those animals where perfect too!" Celine pouted.

"Yeah, yeah the animals where perfect being small balls of brown fur at the time. Anyways back to the story... She started to care for the animals giving them food and shelter and became kind, for she didn't expect anything in return. He took her back to his kingdom and offered her a brother... His name was Lucifer!" He said emphasizing his name his brown eyes widening.

"No!" Celine cried.

"Yes! He wasn't all that bad at first, actually he was God's right hand man. Things went smoothly for a while until his first creation, whom he named Faith, had fallen from his kingdom! God, of course being God, saved her in time. To ensure this wouldn't happen again he took a piece of fabric from his robe and created wings for both Faith and Lucifer. Their wings were sewn together with light and battle darkness wherever they went. Faith visited the animals very often while Lucifer always ran arrends for God. One day God asked them both "my Angels, would you like more company?" The angels of course agreed that they needed company and rejoiced. But God made lesser beings. They became small and fragile creatures , beings who didn't follow directions, these puny and dysfunctional creatures were called humans. They where to be guarded at all times by the angels. By then there were seven angels including Faith and Lucifer, but none had the same power and force as the first two. Lucifer was stubborn and became annoyed with the new creatures. He tried convincing the angels that these new creatures where too frail and unholy because they fought amongst themselves for trivial reasons. Seeing that the angels would not listen he confronted God. He told him everything he thought about these creatures telling him how unmerciful and evil they were, but God would not have it and so he banished him to Hell." He said dramatically with his hands in the air.

"But the tale goes on for there was another angel who began to doubt, Felina. She visited Lucifer often and began to trust him. The humans began disappearing, some in fires, some from disease, and some from the very water they drank. God began to notice and banished Felina to the same fate as Lucifer, but she wouldn't go without a fight. She forged a dagger made of the purest silver she could find and adorned it with a golden hilt. She snuck up to Faith one night and ripped out her grace!"

"Noooo!!!" Celine yelled

"Its just a story" I assured her.

"She threw her down to the earth and hid her grace. Felina went back to Lucifer and he greeted her with open arms. That is until she had told him what she had done. Lucifer took Felinas dagger cut out her grace and crushed it. Two angels where now dead due to Lucifer's arrogance."

"What about Faith?" Celine asked innocently.

"God found out about what Felina had done and collected what was left of Faith and created a soul made from a fragment of a star. He tossed it unto earth and to this day is waiting for his first angel to rise once again."

"Since the apocalypse don't you think Faith would show up by now? Everyone on earth is either here or in hell." I asked

"Maybe she ended up on the wrong side" Celine said.

"She's an angel so she'd eventually end up here." I debated

"Well so was Lucifer." Michael finally said winning the argument.

"Hey! If you think about it she was also the first light!" Celine said with excitement. "It's curfew we should sleep now." I insisted with heavy eyelids.

"Alright great story Michael!" Celine grinned and layed against the white fabric. "Thanks" Michael became bashful and lied onto the cloud like blanket.

"What did they look like Michael? Faith and felina?." Celine whispered

"Faith was the first and she was actually said to be very beautiful, but strange beautiful, like her hair was white like the stars and her eyes where supposed to mimic the sunrise so an evening orange I guess."

"And felina?" Celine asked

"Oh well she was different, she was more like a soldier. Her hair was black to imitate the night sky. And her eyes, from what I heard, were supposed to be green like the garden but when she killed faith her eyes turned to a smog gray color." He responded

"How strange." Celine said yawning

"Goodnight" I said picking small green grass blades out of my dark brown hair, ignoring a story meant for children. But I couldn't shake off today's events I mean... She vanished completely.
