Wooyoung's pov
"Jung Wooyoung, you want custody of this baby. Did I understand this clearly? A kpop idol is willing to adopt a child so soon into his career?" The Judge asked. I nodded my head and placed my hand on the bible to take the oath.
"I, Jung Wooyoung, will speak the truth and only the truth. Yes, your honor, I am willing to give up my life of fame for this child. I found her trapped, scared, alone, in a cardboard box. Her smile made me absolutely fall in love with her as a parent. I wish to be there for her through everything life has to offer.
"I want to be there for her first steps, first words, first everything. Her first breakup, her first car, her first house. I want to be there for Sunny as best as I can, which is why I am willing to give up my life to make hers amazing." I concluded, tears in my eyes. I wiped them away before they could fall.
"Mr. Jung, are you absolutely sure you will give up your life of dance for a baby girl?" The judge asked. I nodded my head proudly.
"I will choose Sunny over my job, I'll even choose her life over my own at any given second. I love her, Your Honor." I smiled and waved at little Sunny who was sat in San's lap. San helped Sunny wave back.
"Alright. Let's gather this man some paperwork and do a blood test to find out who her parents are. Let's find out her birth name, and who to jail for endangerment of a minor and abandonment of a child." The judge claimed and hit his mallet on the wooden plate, finalizing his decision.
"So I get to keep Sunny?" I asked for confirmation. The judge nodded his head and handed me some paperwork.
"Sign all of these, then she will be yours legally. Remember, we do monthly house inspections to make sure the house is safe for her." The judge smiled and gave me a pen.
"Thank you so much. Is it possible for Sunny to have two dads legally?" I asked. The judge looked at me shocked but nodded.
"He will have to have his own court date to decide if he gets guardianship, but it is possible. For now, he has no guardianship of Sunny, bu he could eventually." The judge smiled again sweetly. I nodded my head and began filling out the paperwork.
As I signed my name for the last time, I felt tears prick my eyes. This last signature would finalize me becoming Sunny's father. Tears dripped onto the paper as I signed my name for the last and final time.
"Sannie, Sunny is ours now!" I exclaimed and hugged him tightly. I pecked Sunny's forehead and gently pinched her cheek.
"Hear that, princess? I'm your dad now!" I smiled and kissed her head once again. I gently healed her small hand in my fingers and smiled even wider as she grasped my finger.
