*Song: Eleanor Rigby by The Beatles
"Honey, why are you packing already? We leave Friday, it's only Tuesday," Harry asks as he watches me frantically pack while he sits on my bed.
"What's the weather like in England?" I ask, staring at all the clothes laid out on the floor in front of me.
"It's a bit colder than here," he states.
"So like long sleeve cold or 'you should bring a sweater' cold?" I ask.
"What?" he questions, confused.
"Nevermind," I say, as I lay on the floor and cover my face with my hands.
"Hey," he says, taking my hands from my face. He is laying on his stomach next to me. "What's wrong baby?"
"I honestly don't know," I say, staring at the ceiling.
"Do you not want to go anymore?" he asks, worriedly.
"Of course I still want to go Harry, I'm just... I don't know," I say, looking into his eyes.
"What is it? Talk to me," he says, sitting up, pulling me so I am laying in his lap.
"Well I guess it's just I am stressed out about leaving. I know it sounds stupid but I am. When I was a kid we never went anywhere, we couldn't afford it. The first time I really went anywhere was when I left Boston come here for college, and even that was bold for me. I considered going to school in Massachusetts for a long time but it just didn't feel right. I haven't left New York since I got here," I explain.
"It's not stupid sweetheart, nothing you say is ever stupid. I just have a question though and you don't have to answer it if you don't want to," he says.
"Okay, shoot," I say, looking up at him.
"Why don't you go back to Boston to visit your family? Do you not have any?" he questions. I had a feeling he was going to ask this question. I know he is asking because he cares and he just wants to get to know me but I don't really know how to answer him.
"Let's just say there is no family worth visiting," I say, uncomfortably.
"Not even your dad?" he questions.
"My dad is a story for another day," I say, getting up from his lap, trying to figure out what I am packing.
"Okay," he says, getting up from the floor, coming behind me and wrapping his arms around my waist, resting his chin on my shoulder. "How about instead of worrying about packing, we go somewhere?"
"And where would you want to go on a Tuesday afternoon?" I ask.
"It's a surprise, get dressed I'll be waiting for you in the living room," he says, kissing my cheek and walking out of the room. Harry and his surprises. The last time it ended in us being alone on top of the Empire State building. What's next? "Oh and we might need to stay in a hotel because it's a long drive so I would pack a bag," he says, popping his head in the doorway. What does he have planned this time?
I walk to my closet looking for something to wear. I honestly have no idea where he is taking me which makes picking out an outfit ten times harder. I just decide on a white crop top with purple pants. All I can do is hope that this is suitable for wherever we are going.
