Klaus POV

After I talked to Elijah and I realized that sitting around for the next sixty years would be a waste of time. I finally decided to retire my pride and stubbornness and put on a new coat of forgiveness. I might as well use this time wisely instead of drowning myself in liquor. I perked myself up with a blood bag then grabbed my keys and headed towards Mystic Falls high school.

When I arrived I went through the office and compelled them to call Bonnie Bennett to come to an empty classroom, classroom 126 to be exact. I sat in the swivelle chair facing the windows away from the doors. Bonnie is stubborn, but since I spared her and Elena I assumed she would be easier than dealing with Elena...she is even more stubborn than Bonnie.

I heard footsteps outside the door then it open and shut. I spun around to face her and to my surprise saw more than one person.

"Kol?"

"Hello big brother." He said slyly.

"Bonnie? What is he doing here?"

"He wanted to come because he didn't know what you were up to." Bonnie explained truthfully.

"Well this is only between Miss. Bennett and I, so you may leave." I stated smiling through growling fangs.

"I think I will stay actually. This must be quite interesting if you are going to get that defensive so early." Kol said taking a seat in one of the many desks smirking and smiling excitedly. Kol looked between Bonnie and I, "carry on NiKlaus." He gestured with his hands.

"You know what, what I am more interested in is when Kol became your bodyguard Bonnie. I thought you hated us?" I questioned mischievously.

Bonnie and Kol exchanged looks then avoided eye contact from each other and myself as well.

"Ah, I see something romantic happened." I realized quickly as I have experienced the same thing with Caroline all the time.

Oh how I miss her. I miss her so much that words can not describe. She owns half of my dead beatless heart and somehow it aches even if it is not alive it aches as if it is.

"Alright here I go." I took a deep breath. "I would like to apologize Bonnie Bennett. Please accept my apology."

"That's it?" She asked.

"Yes." I said confused. "What else is there to be said I apologized?"

"You didn't even say what you were apologizing about it could mean anything brother." Kol explained.

I looked down thinking deeply.

"Alright." I looked at Kol. "I'm sorry that my brother is terrorizing you."

Kol sped up to my face and eyes me with a warning look.

"Whatever, I'm leaving." Bonnie said with a wave of her hand.

"I was only teasing." I said. "Wait."

Bonnie stopped, then turned around. "You got about 10 seconds." She stated folding her arms in front of her chest. Kol stepped aside.

"Miss. Bennett, I apologize for going after your friends and becoming a serious threat to the people you care about. I am not like that any more and I am trying to be better."

Bonnie looked at me seriously. "Trying? Or will you be better?"

I took in a breath. "I will." For Caroline.
