Darkness is a strange substance, like ice it has three states solid, liquid, and gas, but with a twist. In the dark Amota hall, even the ticking had a relaxed feeling, as if it was a heart-beat at rest. Ever felt as if the air moved like cool water and the aroma of Amota's scented candles infused her far more deeply than it did in the light of day. In the twilight the fabrics were muted hues, as if they too awaited dawn to ignite their colors for all to see.

Whenever Ever walked into the Amota hall she had a question but today she had no question to be asked. Today, she had a truth to be known.

She was dressed in a long white satin dress with a V-shape neckline. Amota had always loved to see Ever wearing pale white dresses.

Ever walked as if she's bearing a huge burden on her shoulders.

The water of the pond splashed and Amota came out of the water. Amota is the future teller of Angelic. She knew what was coming but she trusted Ever more than the future.

Ever stood infront of the pond.

There was silence. Amota and Ever were staring at each other.

"My mother is dead." Ever spoke.

There was no reply from Amota.

"Elizabeth has gone missing." Ever took a step toward the pond and stopped.

Amota was still staring at Ever.

"Julian is dead."

"I'm sorry, Ever." Amota said.

Ever grinned. "Sorry?"

She took another step toward the pond. "You knew everything. Didn't you?"

Amota swallowed the fear growing in her. For the first time in the life she felt fear. She feared the person whom she loves the most. She did everything thing to protect Ever but Ever will get to know it.

"You are the only person who knows that I love Julian." Ever looked away as her face turned red. "I never got to tell him how much I love him."

A single tear squeezed out of Amota's wild eyes. She knew her end was close but she didn't cry for destruction, she cried for Ever's pain.

"Five hundred years, when I was in love, I came to you because I wanted you to be the first person to know my little secret." Ever felt the wet hot tears fill up her eyes. "You told me I wasn't destined to love Julian. You told me if I fall in love with Julian it will destroy. You told me that Cael Angelo Fire is soul mate. You told that everyone will be happy if I choose Cael instead of Julian." She felt cold tears start to stream down her face. Her lips trembled as she cried.

"I kept my feelings for myself because I wanted everyone to be happy." Tears raced down her cheeks.

"I wanted everyone to be happy. I didn't care that I was broken and hurt." Tears of pain were running down her cheeks.

"When I met Cael by the Darrnoi I felt something I've never felt. A wild desire grew in me to make him mine." Ever fell on her knees.

Amota swam closer to Ever. "You love Cael." She said.

"I love Cael but I love Julian more." She bleeds the salt of her soul as it pours from her eyes.

"I trusted you Amota. I trusted you more than my family. I believed every single word you told me." Ever laughed wiping her tears. "But I failed to understand that the person I trust the most is my greatest enemy. You were at the top place along with our dear God in the plan of destroying the love of my life!" Ever screamed at Amota.

Amota stared at Ever, her eyes wide opened.

"I thought we were friends."

"We are friends." Amota said weakly.

"You told me to hide my feelings so Julian will be protected." Ever flew her hands up in the air and laughed evilly. "I never told Julian about how I feel about him but he's dead."

"Ever, I did everything for you." Ever murmured.

"For me?"

"Yes."

"Julian is gone."

"Do you want to know what I saw about your future?"

"Of course." Ever said in a sarcastic tone.

"Destiny repeats. The royals will keep falling in love with the Roosevelt's. Your mother made her choice; she killed Jonathan Roosevelt and gave life to Paulo Roosevelt. You too fall in love with Julian Roosevelt, you too make a choice; you kill your baby instead of Julian and make Julian Roosevelt live." Amota took a deep sigh. "I stopped that unpleasant future of yours. God stopped her favorite daughter being a murderer."

"Do you want me to believe your words?"

"I don't lie."

"You've lied to me the whole time."

"I never lied to you."

"And you will never get to lie again." Ever smirked and made a fire sword and clenched her fist around the fire sword.

"I will miss you." Ever said and threw the fire sword toward Amota.

The fire sword hit Amota's chest. "One day, you will understand what I told you."
