The wedding veil sat comfortably on her head while the white maxi dress clung to every curve making her feel exposed and vulnerable.
The door opened without a knock, startling Elizabeth. She lighted her fingertips with air sparks, furious at the uninvited intrusion. But the sparks disappeared as soon as she noticed that it was Alexander Angelo Earth.
She tried to sigh but she failed. She never expected Alexander to appear in front of her before the wedding. She blinked not being able to believe Alexander's presence.
"Eli." He spoke.
He was dressed in a white long sleeved shirt and milky colored trouser with a pinkish white coat covering the long sleeved shirt.
"You are beautiful." He walked closer to Elizabeth.
She smiled, blushing.
"I know this marriage is unexpected but I hope we can be a happy family together." He spoke as if he was already a King, with pride.
"I hope so too."
Alexander bit his lip and spoke, "Can I take you on a date after the wedding?"
Elizabeth looked at Alexander with surprise, "Of course."
"What about the royal gardens in the evening?" He asked.
"I would love to." She said, smiling.
"Okay, then I'll get going."
"See you at the wedding."
Alexander walked out of Elizabeth's dressing room and bumped into a man in the corridor.
"Oh! I'm so sorry, my lord."
Alexander remembered the familiar apologizing tone of Cedric Roosevelt.
"What are you doing here?" Alexander asked.
"I'm here to meet Elizabeth, my lord." His head was lowered, not making eye contact with Alexander.
"Why don't you look at my eyes?" Alexander asked suspiciously.
Cedric looked confused.
"You always lower your head whenever you talk to me." Alexander said.
"I'm showing my respect to you, my lord."
"You don't have to show me your respect. And you can call Alexander."
Cedric looked into Alexander's eyes. They were the color of the Earth. Cedric examined Alexander. Alexander was tall and well built. His face had sharp features. Cedric wondered whether Alexander was the most handsome man he had ever seen.
"Why are you staring at me?" Alexander asked.
"You're beautiful, Alexander."
Alexander smiled. No man had ever told him that he was beautiful. It felt weird but he liked it.
Alexander placed his left hand on Cedric's shoulder, "Thank you for the compliment." He observed Cedric's blue pupils. He was too beautiful, he thought but he kept it unspoken, "Go ahead and meet, Eli."

Ever had settled on a black and red V-neck dress with a chiffon skirt that showed off her deep cleavage and gorgeous legs. She added diamond jewelry to her long grey inked hair, she looked breathtaking. Cael pulled her into an embrace.
"You're beautiful, my Ever." Cael kissed Ever's cheek.
She smiled and put her arms around him.
"I'm telling mum about us." Ever said. Her fingers playing with the buttons on Cael's shirt.
"I've already told my mother." Cael placed another kiss on her cheek.
"I love you." Cael whispered.
Ever giggled.
"I've told you so many times that I love you but you've never told me whether you love me or not." Cael tightened his grip on Ever as if he was afraid she would fly far away from him.
"I'm saving those three words for the exact time they are needed to be told."
Cael smiled lightly and pulled her into him for huge hug.

Elizabeth Angel walked into the wedding hall with the Queen of Angelic, they crossed from under the arch of red roses which stood at the end of the aisle.
The wedding guests all turned sideways looking down the aisle watching in anticipation. Their faces lit up into broad smiles as the music began to kick in.
The wedding guests stood to their feet and bowed their heads in respect.
Lifting her head up as she watched Alexander Angelo Earth was standing near the statue of Zeus along with Alicia Angel Earth and Ever Angel. As she joined them the Queen Angel took a seat among the guests next to Angel Earth.
The priest cleared his throat. "We are gathered here today to witness the union of the first Royal Angel couple of Angelic." He spoke clearly and loudly, "Marriage is the union of two hearts filled with love. Let's begin the ceremony to mark the union of Alexander Angelo Earth and Elizabeth Angel."
He turned his gaze toward Alexander, "Alexander Angelo Earth, do you accept Elizabeth Angel as your wife?" He asked.
Alexander looked straight into Elizabeth's eyes and said, "I do."
The priest focused his attention on Eli. "Elizabeth Angel, do you accept Alexander Angelo Earth as your husband."
She smiled lightly, "Yes, I do."
"Queen Angel and Angel Earth may join us to bless their children."
They came and gave warm hugs to their children and stood beside them.
"Elizabeth Angel, raise your right hand. Queen Angel, hold your child's hand." The priest instructed and they obeyed him.
There were two maids standing behind the priest. One of them was holding a tray with a bowl of boiling gold and the other was holding a tray with a pencil made up of diamond.
The priest took the pencil and sank it into the bowl of boiling gold. He lifted the gold covered diamond pencil and placed it on Elizabeth's wrist, drawing the union circle.
Elizabeth groaned lightly in pain, the Queen tightened her grip on Elizabeth, making silent prayers, asking God to not harm her child.
The priest had a prideful look on his face when he finished drawing the circle.
"Alexander Angelo Earth, you may raise your left hand and Angel-"
Just then, an arrow shot the Queen Angel, straight into her chest.
