Chapter 21: A step closer or a push away?

Surprised was an understatement. What I felt the moment Brent introduced me to his guest was far more than surprised, not only was the guest a guy, but also Jessie.

"Lily this is Jessie and Jessie, Lily" Brent introduced as Jessie stood there with a gigantic smile plastered on his face

"Hey lilyyy" seems like a handshake wasn't enough as Jessie pulled me in for a hug by my hand

"Hey... Jess" ok where did that come from, it just seems natural, Jess from Jessie no big deal right

We stood in a small restaurant only a few minutes from the beach. Soon after the confused look on Brent's face started to come to view we filled in a table close to the edge

"You guys seem pretty friendly" Brent questions

"Yeah, we umm met, just this morning"

"Oh, really? Lily barely steps out of the house" Brent throws a look at me which I know definitely means we will have a conversation about this later

"Uh, yeah I just went out for a quick walk on the beach..." I trailed off not knowing what to say in order to not face Brent's wrath later

"Oh yeah, and when I finally got her to talk my bad timed brother here decided to ruin the moment" Jessie joked

Brothers? Wow, they were poles apart. Jessie is the kind of guy to joke around and take it easy but Brent's always serious and constantly getting mad at me, not to mention his mysterious vibe while Jess is open

I looked back at Brent, trying not to catch his eyes. He looked uncomfortable and I could tell he had a lot of questions for me

After ordering and having small talk which consisted of mostly Brent and Jess catching up. Jess decided to speak up and get me farther into a mess with Brent

"Looks like we're having our date early, only difference is my brother disturbing us"

"What. Date." Brent asks, I see his hands clench under the table and the first time he did that, things did not go down good. I look up at his face now and his eyes are dark, now he looks scary

I know Jessie notices because he tries to lighten things up
"Bro, don't get to worked up, I just asked Lily to hang out tomorrow, actually I told her we were going to so I didn't give her a choice" then he goes back to his playful self again "Anyways Lils is far to pretty to go out with someone like me" he ends with a wink

"Lils?" I warn Jess just to see his scared expression "remember what I told you about calling me that"

"Oh shit sorry, princess" he smirks

"OK that's enough, we should get going Lily" he shots up, taking my hand in his and makes his way off of the seats

"Not so fast big brother" Jess stands up from his seat as well "I didn't come to visit for a day, I'm here the whole break!! Isn't that great"

"Sure is Jessie" I can't help but notice how stiff Brent is as Jessie walks beside me as we walk out the restaurant

As I was about to run up to my room as usual, Jessie brought up the idea of having a movie marathon since he wasn't tired in the least. I was partly glad so that Brent wouldn't be able to start questioning me since Jess was with us.

Jess picked out most of the movies and called me over to choose but I just blew it off saying anything would do, in reality when I saw the first movie he put on I was already terrified, as much as I loooved watching scary movies, well they scared me!!!! I didn't have to wait for the rest of the night to know that I wouldn't be able to sleep that night or a few other for that point.

I sat in the middle of the two, we had blankets covering us and Jess was holding the popcorn.

Halfway through the movie all I wanted to do was get out of there, unfortunately it was only the first movie and we still had a stack to get through. So I kept my eyes on the screen while yet another girl got pulled into the basement, screaming.

I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist under the blanket and pull me into his lap. I jumped up at the sudden contact.

"But jumpy are we, you scared kitten?" I could hear the smirk on his voice

"N-no, why would I be, i-it's not even that scary"

"Doesn't seem like it from what I see" he chuckled

"Shut-up, I just haven't watched a scary movie in a while ok"

"Whatever you say kitten" I felt his warm breath hit my neck as he whispered in my ear

" Let go of me!!" I yelled in a whisper so that we wouldn't catch Jess's attention, when I took a peek at him, he was half sleep already.

"What will you do if I don't" he says amused

"I- I'll....uhhh, I'll scream!!!" I said as confidently as I could

"Oh really, go ahead" that surprised me. I was not actually planning on screaming, but what could I do now.

"Uh.. Uh ok fine I-I will" i started to fake it so that he would stop me and give in, but instead he looked at me, with a amused look on his face that screamed 'I knew you wouldn't'

I cleared my throat and was ready to scream at the top of my lungs, and wake Jess up while I was at it.

My scream lasted for only about a second before Brent's lips were on mine, it wasn't a small or sweet kiss, it was filled with lust and want, it was rough and left me wanting more

He leaned forward until it was him on top of me, with every second thee kiss became deeper and his tongue reached my lip, asking for entrance, when I denied he kissed harder until I accepted. We kissed for who knows how long until I snapped when he tugged at my shirt, I pulled away immediately.
