Chapter 22: Forget what?

Sorrrryyyyy guys, i know I haven't updated in 4everrrr but I had writers block, plus a lot going on soooooo here it is, I know I know, finally and omg thank you for all the reads ily guys *blows kisses*

Ps I was just trying to update asap so I'm sorry if this chapter sucks, I'll love you 5ever if you won't hate me:)

I pushed him to make enough room for me to slip out, and ran towards my room before he could process it. I ran as fast as my legs could carry me after I heard Brent yelling my name, coming after me.

I ran faster until I got into my room and locked the door behind me. I breathed in and out heavily once I got in, I have absolutely no idea what just happened. Including why I ran out like that.

I heard panting and a attempt at opening the door from the opposite side.

"Lily, look..... I'm so sorry for catching you off guard like that ,I don't know what I was thinking.....just know that I didn't regret it."

I stood behind the door, shocked. I made no noise hoping he would leave soon

"I know you can hear me" I heard a sigh and a second of silence "Get some sleep and I'll see you tomorrow okay?"

Getting myself to go down to the breakfast table was the least difficult thing I had to do this morning and I realize it now as I sat across from Brent at the table. Jessie had insisted we eat together this morning when he surprised me by waking me at 8 in the morning ,which is terrifying for me since I am not a morning person.

I had made up my mind last night to forget whatever happened. So that is what I was trying to do, but Jessie wasn't making it any easier.

"We should go out tonight, you know like a party"

"The guy a few blocks down is throwing one, what's his name.... that's right, Caesar" Brent shared

"I don't know Jess, I'm not feeling it tonight, you guys go have fun" I said sheepishly

"When are you ever" I heard Brent scoff , I narrowed my eyes at him as he played with his food with a fork

After breakfast I went up to my room, there was literally nothing to do in there but it was better than the awkwardness of sitting on the that's same sofa Brent kissed me on just last night

Ughh why can't I just stop thinking about it, stupid Brent and his stupid player ways!!!

I looked up to see who had disturbed me pulling the hair out of my head.

"Heyy, we need to talk"

"What's up Jess"

"I was thinking..." He trailed off

"I'm not going to that party" I put bluntly

"I wasn't going to ask that, well actually I was, but after something else"

"Nothing you say will make me go to that party" party's really weren't my scene anymore, my life's already screwed up enough and I don't want to be a drunk party girl, again.

"I know Brent kissed you last night."

Well. I wasn't expecting that.

"W-wh-what kiss" I tried my best fake laugh which ended up with me sounding like a dying goat

"I wasn't sleeping, lily" he chuckled "I knew something was going on between you two by the way Brent was glaring at me in the restaurant"

"I don't know what your talking about"

"Ok pretend like you don't know what I'm going on about but I'm willing to forget I ever saw anything if you go to that party tonight"

"Forget what?" I challenged leaning in with my arms crossed over my chest

He gave me that oh-we-are-playing-this-game look and continued "I promise I'll be with you 24/7 and I won't let you get drunk at all"

"Fine, but i still don't know what your talking about forgetting"

"So do you need some clothes for the party"

"Um I don't think so, I'll just grab something from your sisters closet"

"What are you talking about?"

"Your sisters clothes, there's a closet full of them"

"Lily, we don't have a sister" he laughs

What the hell, why would Brent lie to me, and about something like that

"That's not what I heard" I mumbled

"What?"

"Brent told me you guys had a sister and this was her room, wait whose clothes are those then" I walked to the closet with Jess behind me and opened it for him to see

"I don't know, they weren't there before, but why would Brent lie to you like that"

"Probably the clothes he keeps for all the girls he toys with" I spat, thinking about how I became one of those girls who believed him and wore these clothes

"Well I have an idea then" the look on Jess's face told me he had something in mind
