I was sitting next to a tree, reading a book. It was nice reading under the tree in the gardens. Suddenly, a hand grabbed the book out of my hands. I looked up to see Amber, who had my book in her hand. Elizabeth stood next to her. I got up from the ground.

"Give it back", I said as calm as I could.

"What kind of trash are you reading?"Amber asked.

"Yeah, no one reads books anymore",Elizabeth says.

"Well I do", I said. "My dad said it was a favorite of my mother's".

"Oh really?" Amber asks. She threw the book to the ground. "She must've been crazy".

I picked up a pile of mud and threw it at Amber. It landed on her dress. She screams. I laughed. She growled.

"You are so done!" She said angrily.

"No, I'm not", I said as I walked over towards my book. Elizabeth grabs the book and throws it into the mud.

"Your mom doesn't seem to have style", Elizabeth said.

I was about to throw a punch at her, but a hand grabbed my arm. I didn't want to turn around, but I did. I saw the disappointed look on my father's face.

Me and Thor walked into his room. I already didn't like where this was going. I already knew it was going to turn out a way I don't want it to turn out.

"I don't understand how I'm the one in trouble!" I said.

"Lilly, you almost punched her", Thor said.

"She deserves it. They both do. They threw my book to the ground, they made fun of me, but I'm the one who gets in trouble. It's ridiculous", I argued.

"You should've made a better decision".

"They threw my book in the mud so I had nothing else to do".

"This isn't just about a book, is it?"

Before I could answer, someone knocked on the door. Thor invited the person inside. The door was opened by Loki.

"Uh, is this a bad timing?" Loki asked.

"Yes, brother. Lilly is in trouble right now", Thor said.

"Nice", Loki said, smiling. Thor glares at him. "I mean, Lilly, what did you do?"

"Someone deserved a punch in the face so I thought I could give it to them", I explained. "Yet, I'm the one who gets in trouble".

"Lilly, go to your room", Thor said.

"It isn't fair!" I protested.

"Lilly. Go to your room", Thor repeated, but more sternly.

"Everything was horrible ever since I got here", I said as I stormed out of the room.

"Everything was horrible ever since I got here", Lilly said as she stormed out of the room.

Thor sighs. He was about to go after her, but Loki stops him. "Loki, let me go", he said.

"Give her some space, Thor", Loki said. "Look, there's something you don't know. It's about...it's about Lilly's past".

"Brother, What do you know of Lilly's past?"

"I can't-"

"Loki, if something is wrong with my daughter, you need to tell me".

"I promised I wouldn't say anything, but I guess I have no choice".

"Start talking".

"The people who took care of Lilly treated her terribly. She said they only wanted her for something called money. By the way she said it, I don't think that's a good thing and I don't think they cared for her. Being here hasn't helped. The people here treat her the same way as her parents, adoptive parents. Thor, she is still trying to figure out who she really is and where she belongs. She's been surrounded by people who don't care about her", Loki explained.

The room fell into silence. "You should've told me. If something's wrong with my child, I need to be able to help her", Thor said.

"She didn't want me to tell you so I didn't", Loki said. Thor walks out of the room. Loki walks out of the room to follow him.
