'Wake up Mira!!!!' A familiar voice shouted. Ignoring the voice, I pulled my pillow over my ears and snuggled deeper into the warm velvety blanket. The owner of the voice did not back down easily, yanking my blanket and grabbing my pillow out of the way.

'But Henrietta...its Saturday....,' I whined as I reluctantly opened my eyes. Her soft brown hair immediately came to view. Her big black eyes stared down at me in disdain, like as if I have done some terrible crime against her when all I did was sleep.

'Yes yes indeed! What else can we do on a Saturday morning apart from playing video games?' She asked as she held up the game console. Sighing, I shook my head and snatched my pillow and blanket back from her. If she thinks that I'll give up my precious sleep for video games, she is very wrong. 'Please??' She pleaded as she grabbed my shoulder. 'Jeremy is not back yet...'

'Then go play with Yvan... I bet he is awake,' I murmured as I pulled the soft blanket over myself and turned the other direction.

'But that pig of a boyfriend wouldn't wake up no matter how many times I kick or punch him,' she pouted.

'Who you calling pig, you damn shortie??' Another voice grunted. This time, I opened my eyes to see a tall figure standing at the door. He wore a plain white shirt and black shorts.

'And who are you calling shortie, you fat pig?' Henrietta retorted as she glared daggers at him. Yvan merely smirked as he sauntered into the room. I sat up, thinking that it was kind of awkward to let him see me still lying down on my bed...in my pajamas.

'So you say you are not short?' He grinned as he stared down at her. He was at least forty centimeters taller than her. Undaunted by the obvious difference in height, Henrietta put one hand on her hip and glared back up at him. If looks could kill, he'll probably be dead by now. Ignoring her glares, he scooped her into his arms and slung her over his shoulders.

'Let me go!!!' She shouted as she struggled out of his grasp. Ignoring her, Yvan turned to my direction. 'Sorry Mira... you can continue sleeping now...I'm taking this noisy girlfriend of mine away.'

'Hell no you are not! Lemme go!' Henrietta yelled.

'Come on, Henrietta...I'll play any type of game you want...or maybe we should play something R21...?' He asked, his voice low and seductive as he carried the still struggling Henrietta out of my room.

I sighed when both of them finally left. Maybe now I'll be able to get some sleep.

'Geez...its as noisy as usual here. Oh and you don't look sexy at all by the way,' another voice sounded and I groaned. Looks like sleep wasn't coming to me anytime soon.

'Shuddup,' I said as I threw a pillow at the black clad figure at the door. Smooth tanned skin, cool black spectacle, a black shirt and a pair of black shorts. Yes, it was none other than Jeremy. The guy who goes out partying at night and comes home in the morning with the faint smell of perfume or the distinct lipstick stains on his clothing. He dodged the pillow and advanced towards me.

'What? Its the truth!' he chuckled.

'Are you trying to pick a fight?' I asked as my eyes narrowed.

Before he could reply, something threw itself against Jeremy, making him stumble forward a little.

'Jeremy darlingggg! I missed you! Where were you last night? Don't tell me its another woman again!!!' Joe shouted as he put his arms around Jeremy.

'Ewww get off me...your joke went a little too far Joe!' Jeremy protested as he struggled out of Joe's grasped. With that, the two of them made their way out of my room.

I sighed yet again. So much for privacy. The rooms here don't have a lock so anyone can just go in at anytime, which totally sucks. Anyway, it looks like I'm already wide awake. I might as well get dressed and have some breakfast. The sweet aroma of coffee and the sight of freshly baked pastries made my mouth water as I neared the dining hall. The landlady nodded good morning and smiled warmly, telling me to help myself to the food on the table. I poured myself some coffee and took a few egg tarts.

'Morning Charlotte,' I said as I spotted the girl with the silky jet black hair making her way towards my table. She looked up from her book and nodded as she claimed the seat opposite me. The two of us had our breakfast in silence------with her being engrossed in her book and me savoring the rich flavour of the coffee and the heavenly taste of the tarts.

'Mira...I'm gonna write a new book soon,' Charlotte said, finally breaking the silence as she looked up from her book.

'I see...what is it about?' I asked curiously.

'Its going to be about zombies. Its gonna be super gory and I'll make sure everyone in Willow Complex is in it. And guess who is the first one among us to die?' She asked.

'Hmmm... Joe?' I chuckled.

'Nope Jeremy...cus apart from bursting the zombie's eardrums with his horri....I mean wonderful singing, he cant protect himself at all,' she replied and the two of us giggled.

'Hey...My beautiful voice and handsome face can definitely save me. Don't look down on my hotness,' Jeremy appeared from behind, grabbing a fruit tart for himself. Charlotte laughed as I pretended to puke. 'Anyway, I heard that there will be a new resident here soon. His name is Wilson.'

'What is he good at? He must be a freaking genius to be able to come live here,' Charlotte asked.

'Apparently, he is a genius programmer. But I heard that he is also an amazing hacker, capable of hacking into all the government files. I suspect that if that is true, then they probably want him to stay here so that they can keep a close eye on him,' Jeremy answered in between bites of fruit tarts. 'Anyway, Mira can you go and fetch him from the train station? He is direction blind. Joe and I are busy. Henrietta and her boyfriend are playing some game. Charlotte is going off to meet her mom later. You're the only one who is free.'

'Screw you all... fine I'll go fetch him. What time is he coming?' I sighed.

'About 2pm. Here is his photo...,' Jeremy said as he fished out a photograph from his pocket.

I gasped when I saw Wilson's face. Midnight black hair, equally black eyes, a high cheekbones and a charming smile. This guy is unexpectedly... hot. Behind me,Charlotte took a peek at the picture and remained indifferent. Typical Charlotte.. She was never one to judge based on looks.

'Oh please! Whats with that reaction, Mira? I'm ten times hotter than him ok? Or don't tell me...you are falling for him?!' Jeremy teased. He snatched the photograph from me and tried to imitate Wilson's smile, raising his eyebrows in a rather awkward manner in the process.

'You look like a pedophile,' I commented before laughing along with Charlotte. He simply smiled and shrugged.
