Yawning, I walked down to the dinning hall. Today is finally the day of the audition. The smell of scrambled eggs assaulted my nose, making my stomach growl in response.

'Morning guys,' I yawned. Henrietta was already stuffing herself with the freshly baked bread and eggs while debating about something with the rest.

'Yvan, is bread better with jam or butter?' Henrietta asked with a serious face the moment she saw me, not bothering to greet me.

'Its definitely jam right?' Mira asked as she stared at me.

'Hell no butter is awesome!' Joe shouted.

'Jam for the world!' Jeremy interjected.

'Both are good,' I replied in an attempt to stop their squabble. They ignored me and continued their bickering anyway. I sighed as I chomped down on a piece of bread. It tasted good, soft and warm.

'Do you like it? Zane made it,' Mira said, smiling.

'The bastard who threw garlics at Henrietta?' I scrawled.

'He isn't a bastard. He only threw them at her cus she kept on calling herself a vampire,' Mira replied cheerfully.

I put down the bread for a while. Why was Mira defending him? Don't tell me... and before I could finish the thought, my lips were already curling into a smile. 'You like Zane don't you?' I asked in a singsong voice and she almost choked on her glass of milk.

'N...no! He is just really nice to me thats all,' she blushed.

'Does telling you to get out of the kitchen each time you enter counts as nice? Oh and what was that retarded nickname he gave you again? Oh I think its bitchra?' I teased.

'Shut...shut up! That goldfish has stopped telling me to get out. And he stopped calling me that too,' she retorted.

'Oh my oh my whats this? Goldfish? Did you just call him goldfish?' Henrietta asked and Mira's cheeks turned red.

'No I didn't!' She denied.

'Nope...I definitely heard her say goldfish,' I smirked.

'Fine! I only call him that cause he has a really short memory, just like a goldfish,' she sighed.

'I see...so you like goldfish,' Henrietta teased.

'No I don't! Mira snapped. 'And don't the two of you have an audition to go for? Good luck guys.'

'Yeah thanks Mira,' Henrietta and I said in unison. 'Happy going to school,'I added.

'Since when was school fun?' She asked bitterly. 'Come on guys! We better go now. I don't wanna see that detestable pink ticket to detention again.'

'Thats because you are always waking up late,' Jeremy chuckled.

'Shut up,' Mira said. With that, everyone except for Henrietta and I filed out of the room.

It didn't take us long to find the university. Medley stood proudly in the middle of all the other universities. It was gigantic. The insanely high ceiling and the huge gates made me feel tiny and insignificant.

'I feel tiny,' Henrietta said, almost like as if hearing my thoughts.

'But you are tiny,' I teased as I reached down to play with her soft brown hair.

'I'm not tiny! Piggy Yvan is just too huge,' she retorted as we entered a lift. The audition hall was at the third level.

'I'm only huge to you,' I smirked.
