My Only Love

Chapter 6

After that night, everything seems magical between me and him. Well, atleast for me. Two days have passed after that night at imbes na malinawan ako naguguluhan lang ako. In those two days me and Ace messaged non-stop. 

He would always greet me a good morning and a good night, I like him. Grabe speed yata talaga ko pero, we have a connection. As cliche as it seems, I haven't met someone from the opposite gender whom I can easily get comfortable with. 

As I get up from my bed I was expecting a text from him but to my disappointment there was none. I don't want to be clingy dahil ano nga ba naman kami, I don't even know if we share the same feelings. MU?

MU ba kami do we have a mtual understanding o isa lamag tong malanding ugnayan? Feeling sad I stood up from my bed and went to the small kitchen to eat breakfast.

"Huy, get back to sleep na lang. We don't have classes today may biglaang faculty meeting" Morriah told me after she saw me coming out of my room. 

I looked at her sadly, I went to the couch where she is laying while playing ML. I placed all of my weight on top of her, hugging and somewhat killing her at the same time.

"Uy, impakta ka bakit?" she was somehow annoyed at first but maybe she saw frustration and sadness at my face that's why she looked at me with sympathy.

"Uy ano nga, bilisan mo na magkwento mababash ako at nasa rank game ako" Morriah Alexandra everyone handang ipaubaya ang rank game para saakin.

"Di siya nag goodmorning sakin" I said that just like how a child would while throwing a tantrums.

At dahil dyan lumagapak ang aking pwet dahil tinulak niya lang naman ako. Buti na lang may gray carpet kami saaming mini sala.

"Naku, Celes Amelia sinasabi ko sayo ano naman kung hindi? What is your relationship with him?" tanong ng bruha ng may kasamang mapangasar ng ngiti.

"Wala" isang punong- puno ng pwersang sagot ko.

Tinawanan niya ko ng sobrang lakas bago utusan na magluto. Tumayo na ako at lumapit saaming ref para tumingin ng lulutuin.

"Don't expect, just go with the flow." I looked at Morriah questioningly.

"Without a label you don't really know what will happen. Just don't expect, don't give too much and just go with the flow." Napatitig na lang ako sakanya dahil sa sinabi niya sakin.

"I want Omelette fried rice and adobo for breakfast ah" Before I could overthink sinabi na iyang ng bruha na parang umoorder lang sa restaurant. I started taking out the ingredients when suddenly, the doorbell rang.

Tinignan ako ni Morriah na parang nagsasabi na ako na ang magbukas kaya ginawa ko. Binukasan ko lang ang pintuan at iniluwa nuon ang lalaking gumugulo sa isip ko.

I was about to bombard him with questions as to why he didn't sent me a text today when Kiel appeared looking like a super stressed person.

"Anong breakfast natin? Kahapon pa namin alam na walang pasok kaya pumunta na kami dito para gawin yung project since magiging busy tayo next week" Mahabang salysay ni Kiel.

"Bakit ba naman kasi kayo pumunta dito ng di pa kumakain" sagot naman ni Morriah.

"Hoy babae bago mo ko tarayan, may dala kaming bibingka at puto bumbong" Sagot naman ni Kiel sakanya. Bago pa makasagot si Morriah napatalon at napapalakpak na ko sa tuwa dahil kahapon pa ko nagcacrave para sa mga pagkain na to.

"Bakit naman hindi niyo sinabi tara pumasok na kayo". I said while eyeing the paper bag that was being carried by Gio.

They all sat at the sofa and started chatting and playing ML while I cook breakfast. I was preparing the plates when suddenly Ace appeared to help me.

"Good morning" I just smiled at him because I don't really know how to act in front of him.

Nagtatampo ako pero ako lang ang nakakaalam. I felt so relieved when Kiel appeared to divert his attention, hopefully. They all praised my cooking skills saying that it was very homie for their taste buds. 

Nalaman din namin na Gio and Ace lives in the same condominium but different rooms that's why they really enjoy lutong - bahay. When we got to the dessert part I was shocked with what Kiel said.

"You must have really like this." He said while slicing the bibingka.

"Ace Jaxon San Jose woke me up at 7 in the morning to look for it, nakakainis siya dahil nagpuyat pa naman ako dahil alam kong walang pasok. Buti na lang masarap to" he ended his statement jokingly. I looked at Ace who is now looking at me.

"Sorry I haven't texted you I just wanted to surprise you." He whispered that to me in a very low voice.

Oh dear Ace Jaxon, you did this is the best puto bumbong and bibingka I have ever tasted.
