My Only Love

Chapter 7

Today is a Wednesday, naglulunch lang kami. It's a blissful one since kumpleto kaming anim. We just occupied a table for 10 since it was the only one available. Today will be a scrumptious lunch for us dahil libre to ni Cheena.

She always do this after her birthday dahil nga siya lang naman talaga ang sanay na sanay at mahilig sa inuman.

Her family owns a liquor shop so simula sa pagkbata ay nahasa na siya sa mga ganyan. We are at a restaurant right now sa may Espanya .

It's one of our favorites kaya kapag nakakaluwag-luwag dito kami, Japanese restaurant to na may super sarap na Maki and Ramen.

Cheena and Farrah is at the counter ordering food for us. I was busy scrolling through my phone to find a shop that sells the aloe vera gel that I use .

"Uy, bili tayo cake. Para mafeel naman ni Cheena na birthday niya" France suddenly said that to the three of us waiting.

"Paano naman natin gagawin yun ng di niya nahahalata. " Tanong naman ni Morriah habang naka taas pa ang isang kilay kay France.

"Hoy Morriah bago mo ko tarayan may naisip na ko na plano, kaya umalis na kayong dalawa ni Celes para makablik kayo agad" pambabara naman ni France ng buong tapang.

"Kayong dalawa dapat para kunyare may kailangan kayong ipasa saglit, para di mahalata ni Cheena" mahinhin na idinagdag yun ni France ng makitang may isasagot nanaman ang bruhang si Morriah.

Tumayo na lang ako at hinila na si Morriah patayo para makabalik na kami. Mahirap na, nandun si Roe at Farrah na kasing takaw ko lang. Baka dumating ang pagkain ng wala kami at maubusan pa kami ng pagkain.

"Hoy Cami dahan- dahan naman, di naman tatakbo yung coffee shop. Wag mo nga kong hilahin at nakakawala ng poise yang ginagawa mo" sinabi yan sakin ni Morriah habang hawak ko ang kamay niya. Hindi ko siya pinansin at tuluyan ng naglakad.

Pagpasok pa lang namin sa coffee shop naamoy ko na kagad ang mabangong amoy ng kape. I am both a coffee and a tea person, depende lang sa mood ko at saaking panlasa. We went to the counter to order the cake that we want. Hindi kami makapagdecide dahil saaming magkakaibigan iba- iba kami ng taste when it comes to cakes and sweets.

In the end after a long debate, we decided to take the assorted round cake. It has six slices of cake with six different flavors. It has blueberry cheesecake, matcha cream cheese, strawberry and caramel, triple chocolate, oreo red velvet cream and Cheena's favorite mocha cream cake.

"Ma'am 750 pesos lang po" the cashier told Morriah who ordered the cake while I stood beside her. Morriah just smiled at the cashier then looked at me. I also looked at her dahil nacurious ako kung bakit.

"Don't tell me wala kang dalang pera?" she suddenly asked me.

"Wala nga" I told her seriously.

"Fudge naman paano na to nakaorder na ko, wala ka bang dalang card man lang?" Morriah asked me frustration was evident with the way she talks right now.

"Morri, wala akong dalang kahit ano" napamura na lang siya sa naging sagot ko, binalingan niya ang cashier at sinabi niya dito na hintayin niya lamang ang bayad.

I looked at Morriah curiously as to how or what idea she thought of para mabayaran namin ang cake. I followed her with my eyes after I awkwardly smiled at the cashier.

Morriah walked up to a guy reading alone minding his own business at the corner of the café away from everyone else.

Tinapik niya ang braso ni kuyang loner, I could tell by the looks of it that he was very shocked. Well, we both got shocked because I recognize those dimples of him. Siya lang naman yung fling ni Morriah from Engineering na friend din nila Kiel.
