My Only Love

Chapter 5

3 weeks left before the submission of our project, everything is already set.  I can't believe na sobrang ganda yung kinalalabasan niya. Well, first of all we didn't know each other, one or two months ago. We worked harmoniously, everybody makes up for the things the others lack.

Well, speaking of not knowing each other, I don't know why I get this strange feeling from Ace. I've been distancing myself from him because honestly I can't figure out how I feel. I don't know what to think do or say.

"Cami, tara na malalagot tayo kay Farrah kapag nalate tayo", Morriah called me from outside my room. 

I know huhusgahan niyo kami because here we are getting ready to go out again. In our defense it's a Friday night and it's Cheena's birthday. I wore a black two- piece set, faux leather skirt and cropped jacket, I paired it with a tube top inside, white two- inch heels and a red Kate Spade shoulder bag. I did a natural makeup for tonight and straightened my shoulder- length hair. 

I went outside my room and saw Morriah wearing a white ruffled long sleeve fitted mini dress that fits her body perfectly. She wore her pink Dior high heels with it and took a pink clutch with her. I did her makeup and curled her hair. We headed out to get my car because, the birthday party will happen at a rooftop bar at a hotel.

Kung di niyo alam ganun talaga yung business nila ng pamilya niya. Ever since, akala naming lahat accountancy ang kukuhain niya pero Clinical pharmacy bigla ang kinuha niya. Ang ending tuloy parehas kami na 5 years ng course.

"Uy, sana naman pagdating natin dun di mo na pasan ang mundo" Morriah told me with a hint of annoyance in her voice. I looked at her apologetically while she pats my hair like an owner giving comfort to her dog.

"Ha? Okay naman ako ha!" I said that sounding so unsure. Buti na lang dumating na yung elevator.

We rode the elevator together. Tyaka niya ko tinignan na para bang hinuhusgahan niya ko ng bongga.

"Tell me, what is it? Is it a problem at school? Boy problem? Ano?" sunod- sunod na tanong niya. I just shrugged and told her with a cheerful voice 

"Let's not think about that tonight, we are here to party"

" Okay, sabi mo eh. Just go with the flow tonight, huwag ka munang magisip ng bongga dyan. Hindi bagay sayong magisip, nakakapanibago" Sinabi niya yun tyaka natawa.

Ewan ko lang kung pang comfort ba yun pero bahala na. Thank you na lang siguro.

When we reached the rooftop bar, I already saw Cheena wearing a red backless, fitted satin dress with a pair of red killer heels. She was wearing a light makeup along with red lips that suits her really well. We greeted her and went with her to our reserved spot wherein we saw Farrah and Roe with three familiar faces.

" Celes, Morriah you're both here!" Kiel said before he went to us and gave us a place to sit. 

We sat while we happily chat with one another and drank different mixes and types of alcohol. After an hour of drinking, I felt that tipsy na sila. I know that I will be the designated driver so I stood up to look for some water or tea. 

Duh, driver nga diba hindi carrier paano ko naman sila lahat bubuhatin. Kahit pa kaya ko hindi ko parin gagawin nakakawala ng poise sayang ang leather outfit ko.

I was making my way through the wild crowd where all I can say is, hotness. Maraming pogi pero literal na mainit talaga dahil sobrang siksikan at crowded dahil lahat ay nagsasayawan. Akala ko ay malulunod na ko sa dami ng tao when a big, soft hand held my hand and pulled me away from the crowd.

"Okay ka lang?" Ace Jaxon asked me, before I could even answer he bombarded me with questions.

"Huy, okay ka lang ba? Are we okay? Did I do something wrong?". I don't actually know what to answer first but, my heart already responded. 

It made my heart skip a beat seeing how concerned he was. Well hindi ako sure, maybe I am just assuming things pero one thing is for sure, I have feelings for this man. It's only been a few weeks or a month but he managed to make me feel different things, he managed to stay inside my head. 

Sana di pa siya pagod kakatakbo sa utak ko dahil ako pagod na ko kakaisip kung bakit. To put an end on my worries and to answer the biggest question inside my head. I asked him a question that somehow shocked him.

"Do you want to drink milktea with me?" with that , he smiled at me. 

In my defense sabi ni Morriah go with the flow. Hindi ko alam kung ito ang ibig sabihin niya pero why not? Nasa inuman naman kami hindi nga lang ng milktea pero parang ganun na din, shocks ang talino ko.

Buti na lang there was a milktea shop a block away from here. We were walking silently nung bigla siyang nagsalita.

" So, were you mad at me or something?" Tanong niya habang nakatingin saakin.

"Hindi noh, bakit naman ako magagalit sayo?" I asked him innocently

" Eh bakit hindi mo ko tinitignan? Hindi mo rin ako masyadong kinakausap, tapos kapag si Kiel tawa ka ng tawa." Sinabi niya yun na parang batang aping- api.

Madami pa siyang sinabi pero natawa na lang ako sakanya, hindi niya ko pinansin tyaka uminom ng milktea.

" Hindi nga ko galit, di mo ba naisip na baka hindi ka lang talaga funny kaya di ako natatawa sayo. Tyaka isa pa, nagjojoke ka ba?" Pang-aasar ko pa sakanya kaya kumunot ang noo niya.

" So inaasar mo pa ko ha, should I watch Vic Ganda? Do you think I'll become funnier?" Ewan ko kung nagjojoke ba to o seryosos talaga siya. But his face was very serious.

" Una sa lahat Vice Ganda yun, pangalawa naman bahala ka kung saan ka masaya" Sinabi ko yun tyaka hinalo ang milktea ko para makahuli ng pearls.

" Ugh this is so frustrating, I  also don't know why I'm loving this round and black things. I usually go for the Nata" He said that looking so frustrated while he was trying to catch the pearls in his drink.

Well guys, binabawi ko na. Alam ko na ang nafifeel ko as pacute as it may sound crush ko na ata si Ace. Oo coming from a 20 years old cheesy, pero pake niyo.
