Chapter 17: A Nightly Flight

It was 9:17 when Madison was walking down the street after coming from the store. As she was walking a group of boys came up to her, "What's up shawty?" one of the boys said, "Please leave me alone, I'm tryna get home." Madison said as she was tryna back away, "Nah shawty, you see we get what we want." the other boy, "Please, I'm going to get in trouble." Madison begged, they boys cornered her in a lane. They started touching on her, Madison was trying to get them off, "Please stop!" Madison begged. One of the boys tossed her to the ground as he started to unzip his pants, but Lane quietly landed behind them. Madison saw him and smirked, "What you smirking at?" the boy said, "Look behind you." the boys turned around and they saw Lane standing with his arms folded and shaking his head as he was smiling, "Aye, it's that super nigga from the news!" one of the boys said, "So umm... Y'all gonna dip or what?" Lane said in a slick way. The boys ran away, Lane walked up to Madison picked her up and brush her off. "You forever getting in trouble?" Lane said, "Shut up." Madison said as they both laughed, "So what's in the bag?" Lane asked, "Just a pack of gum, but I can carry it in my pocket." she said, "So what was doing?" Madison asked, "Nothing, just flying around. You wanna fly with me, I can carry you on my back." Lane suggested, so Madison accepted his invitation, she got on his back and he slightly lifted of the ground as the took off in the sky. They went high as planes, they could see the whole city of Atlanta, "This is so beautiful." Madison said, you could see the city in her reflecting from her eyes, "Yeah I know. Your eyes look so beautiful." Lane said, he put her in front of him. They both stared at each other then they pulled their faces to each other and kissed. After flying, Lane landed both of them on a building in downtown, "It was so nice of you." Madison said, "Your welcome." Lane replied, "I have to tell you something." said Madison, "Yeah, what is it.", "The day after you came over to my house, I took a pregnancy test and it came out positive and to be sure I went to the doctor and the doctor said I was pregnant." Lane was very shocked, "Really, is I'm the only one?" Lane asked, "Yeah, your the farther." Madison said, after talking Lane took her to her house, "Hey look, I'll be glad to be the father." Lane said, "Thanks." Madison kissed Lane then walked inside and closed the door.
