Chapter 14: A New Friend

Back at school Lane was wondering, where was Dre at. He hasn't been at school for 4 weeks, maybe he was sick, but Dre never gets sick. Lane was thinking about going over to his house after school. As he was putting his cleats in his locker, Madison walked up to him and taped him on his shoulder, "Hey, Super Hood." she said as she smiled, "Oh hey, you good?" he replied, "Mhm, I just wanted to give you this." Lane had a big smile on his face, "Oh shit, this tough as hell. You did good on this, no cap.", "Thanks, I'm glad you like it. Say how about you come over to my house and try it on?" Madison asked, "Yeah, sure." They walked inside the classroom as they got ready for class. Madison sat by Ocean as Ocean confronted Madison talking to Lane, "I see you, Maddy." Ocean said as she bumped Madison's shoulder and quietly giggled, "What do you mean?" Madison asked, "You over there talking to Lane and I heard you invited him to your house." Ocean said, "Its not even like that, I invited him to my house to try out something.", "Yeah, to try on your p-", "NO IT'S NOT, SHUT UP!" Madison said as she covered Ocean's mouth, Ocean snatched Madison's hand off her mouth, "Stop lying, you know you got a crush on Lane.", "I do not.", "If you don't, how come you wrote plane without the p?", "Its just a mistake." After school Lane walked over to Madison's house. He knocked on her door and waited for someone to open it. Madison came to the door and opened it, "Hey Lane, come on in." Madison said, "Wow, umm... what's with the bra and yoga pants?" Lane asked curiously, "Oh, I was stretching. But never mind that, go in my room and try on the suit." Lane walked into her room and locked the door, when he got through putting on the suit he decided to look around her room. He saw a picture of her and Ocean at the Centennial Park, during their field trip. And then he saw one of her when she was 8 years old, Madison knocked on the door and Lane hurried up and placed her picture down on her desk and opened up door, "I hope you weren't snooping around my room." Madison said, "No, I was just trying to put on this mask, can you help me?" Madison walked towards Lane and placed the mask on his face, she looked at his face and just stared, "Your face his so smooth." she said, "Thanks, yours too." Madison pulled Lane towards her and kissed him, they kissed for about 10 seconds,"What about your parents." Lane said, "They're at the bakery, they won't be home till 10:00." Madison replied, she grabbed Lane's hand a pulled him to her room and closed the door.
