I am sitting at the end of the star line up
She said to wait for the uprising
The sun's humming,
I'll find you there.
I've been here for so long,
The stars are longing,
To see the day I will go
A'running.
Out of my mind
Out of my clothes.
But I stay waiting,
For the sun's upraising.
The voices in my head;
They are saying,
"Run away ,run, run!"
But I'm ignoring,
She said to kneel and pray,
So I keep praying.
I'm believing,
There would come a day,
There'd be less of this bleeding,
More of the breathing.
There'd be loving,,
Less cheating.
She said to stay in the presence,
So I keep believing.
Last I saw her
She was soaring
Past the planets
Past the horizon
She shot clear through
Her surroundings
She was saying
"Keep praying,
Keep waiting,
For the sun's uprising."
"Then you will stand in line,
With the stars,
Above the planet,
Ushering the Kings.
She said to keep staying
At the end of the star line up.
