A labyrinth

Riku and Kakashi were waiting for me inside. "We'll have to split up here," Riku pointed to the hall to my left, "He's down there. Good luck Ai. I'll join you soon."

I hugged him quickly before I moved to Kakashi, "Be safe Kashi," I pecked his mask covered lips and took off down the hall. It was simple and one direction; and then it opened into an area that had three different directions to go.

I rolled my eyes, great.
"Eenie, meenie, minie, you," I pointed to the hall to the left, "I hope this is right." I took off down the hall. I hoped there wasn't anymore halls. The hall eventually opened up into an empty and vast room. I scanned the area and realized it was just a dead end.

"This is already bullshit," I muttered the words to myself.

I wasn't expecting a response, "You just got started though!"

I whipped my head around in search of the unknown voice. Two figures seemed to appear out of nowhere. I jumped into a defensive stance.

"Lord Orochimaru told us you'd be coming," the male's voice was scary deep.

"He told us to not go easy on you," whereas the girl's voice was almost hypnotizing.

They both quickly revealed their Kagune's and I smiled. They were only half ghouls.

"Looks like he wanted me to kill you both," my kagune shot out of my back quickly and they gasped. I guess they had never seen a full ghoul before. We all stood there staring at each other silently; waiting for the other to make a move.
    Two on one was going to be difficult; but I just hoped I'd be able to end this quickly. I didn't want any of my energy to be wasted before I find him. The male decided to make his move first. He came flying at me, kagune and fist ready.

I flashed forward and slipped down to uppercut him in the jaw. He was too slow to stop me. My fist connected and there was a sickening crunch. He disappeared and was quickly replaced by the girl. Her foot connected with the top of my head. My face bounced off the ground and I was suddenly grateful for my higher pain tolerance.
      I jumped back and spit blood onto the ground. There was probably a tooth in there somewhere. I really hoped my regenerative ability would replace it.

"We won't be easy to kill," she smirked at me; making me laugh.

"Maybe not, but it'll definitely be fun," I grabbed my kunai from my leg and threw it past her towards the male. This caused them both to lose focus on me and focus on the kunai. I seized this opportunity to run around her and straight for him. Again he was too slow to stop me. My fist connected with his throat and he immediately fell over.
      As he struggled to breathe; I made sure to turn my attention back to her, "What's your name anyways?"

She glared at me and started trying to hit me with her kagune, "WHY DOES THAT MATTER?"

As I dodged; I stopped long enough to shrug; and then I was back to dodging, "I mean why not?"

She screamed and used her kagune to shoot herself further into my direction, "I'M GOING TO KILL YOU."

As she was in the air, I did something she was expecting at all. I jumped up and caught her.

"WHA-," she didn't have time to finish before I body slammed her into the ground. The sound of bones breaking was oddly satisfying in this situation.

When I jumped up; she didn't follow. She stayed laying on the ground; her face contorted from the pain.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?"

I winced, "First off, I'm right here. Why are you screaming? Second, from the sounds your bones were making; I believe your back is broken."

She screamed again and I rolled my eyes, "Woman please. Which hall is Orochimaru down?"

If looks could kill, "Like I'd ever tell you bitch!"

I inched closer for her, "Just tell me. I'll let you live if you do."

She began to laugh, "Lord Orochimaru would kill me if I helped you."

I shrugged, "Not if I kill him first."

She continued to laugh and shake her head. I was so distracted by her weird mannerisms; that I didn't notice she had grabbed my kunai.

"Good luck (y/n)," I saw her raise the kunai but she was too quick for me to stop. She stabbed herself causing an instant death.

Ugh, I walked over to her and pulled my kunai out. I wiped the blood off on her clothes and put it back against my leg. I then walked over to the guy who was laying on his stomach.
I used my foot to roll him over. That punch to the throat must've broken his esophagus.

Looks like I'll just have to guess on which hall to go down again. I rolled my eyes as I ran back down the hall to the opening. When I reached the opening I looked at the remaining options.

I shrugged, "Let's see what's behind door number two!"
