(A/N: this is basically going to be (y/n)'s thoughts on what's happened over the span of 5 years from the wedding. If I actually tried to write everything out.. I'd keep writing the book; but I know it needs to end finally 😭)

I took a deep breath as the wind blew past me. It's been five years since I married Kakashi. He's been nothing short of amazing to me.
Sadly; over these years we've come to terms with the fact that I won't be able to have any children of my own. I lost that ability when I stopped being human. After talking to Tsunade though; Kakashi and I will be adopting a son soon. Tsunade told me his name was Haru.
As for everyone else; there's nothing but good news for them. Riku and Itachi have been dating for quite sometime now. Riku even asked me to dinner to help him set up his proposal to Itachi. It warms my soul to know he finally has someone; and especially since it's Itachi. He's one of the strongest nin I've met and he's so sweet to Sasuke, Riku, and Aiko.
Naruto has gotten older and has been training his ass of with Jiraiya. At this rate there's no doubt he's going to be hokage one day. Also, he's finally getting a clue. Hinata and him have their first date soon. I'm so proud of him; and I remind him that everyday. He can't wait to meet Kakashi and I's son. I remember when I told him. He exclaimed, "It's about time you make me a big brother!" I guess I didn't need an official adoption to make him my son.
Sakura has also seemed to finally break through Sasuke's emo boy shell. I was honestly shocked when I saw them walking hand in hand one day. He still wore his usual "I hate life" face; but I could see he was happy to be with her.Kurenai also sprung some news on me recently. Not only is Asuma moving in with her; but she's also pregnant! She's going to be an amazing mother. Hopefully Asuma stops smoking fully when the baby comes though. He's trying his best right now; so I'll give him some credit there.
Finally. The best news I heard the night of my wedding. Tsunade finally agreed to date Jiraiya. I told her she deserves to be happy. Dan would've wanted her to. As for Jiraiya; I could tell he's been waiting for this for years. I've never seen the old man so happy before.
I took another deep breath and ran my hands through the grass beneath me. It was a beautiful day; and I was bored on my day off.
I felt a pair of hands slide around my waist and smiled. I'd know his touch even in the dark.Kakashi slid his legs around me and I leaned back into him, "I missed you darlin'," he pulled down his mask briefly to kiss my temple.
"I missed you too Kashi. So the mission went well?"
"Of course. So are you ready?"
I turned to look up at him, "Ready? For?"
He glanced down at me, "Yeah, Tsunade told me to bring you back with me."
"Why?," I whined, "It's my day off."
He chuckled, "Something about a Haru waiting on us."
I narrowed my eyes at him, "Did you just say what I think you said?"
He gave me his signature closed eyed smile, "Let's go meet our son."
