Logan's P.O.V
Word got around fast and soon everyone knew about Blake Samuels' little scandal. All the girls were gossiping on what Janelle's reaction was gonna be or about whether Blake was gonna be avalible and stuff. I trudged off to homeroom and plopped into my seat, trying to catch a few extra winks before the bell rang.
"Hey!" Someone pulled an ear bud out of my ear. It was Janelle. She wore a pastel colored sundress with a thin light brown belt fastened loosely around her waist, her hazel brown locks pulled up into a messy bun with a few stray strands to frame her face. To cut it short, she was beautiful.
"Hey Logan" she smiled.
"Hi Janelle" i greeted.
"Um Are you okay? What with Blake and all..," i blurted. stupid stupid, i mentally facepalmed myself. what girl would want to be reminded that her boyfriend cheated on her?
" Err i'm okay i guess. i mean this isn't exactly the first time Blake cheated on me. It's just, this time, he did it so blatantly. i guess we were never meant to be..." she shrugged but i could see small flecks of sadness in her eyes. i kew this it was wrong of me to do this but i mentally fist pumped into the sky.
"Oh. Well why don't after school, after we work on our project, we go out and grab an ice cream? with extra whipping cream?" i added.
She giggled," you remembered?"
i blushed and nodded. she nodded her head, smiling just as the bell rang.
Janelle's P.O.V
I can't believe he remembered. if i were alone i would have jumped up and down till i fell through the floor. once i got out of homeroom, i raced to the bathroom and locked myself in one of the cubicles.
I squealed so hard. When i was excited, there was only one way to get it out.
as i walked out of the cubicle, a bunch of girls at the mirror stared at me, eyebrows knitted up.
"Errr... i saw a bug. yeah. man it was huge. it was like building a web..," then.i realised i'd said to much, " it was a spider." and walked out of the washroom.
i cleared my mind then remembered; how had Logan known about Blake?
Lauren.
That girl better have a good excuse or she would be stripped of her lipgloss for a day.
