"hey oikawa, iwa!" y/n waved from the door of the two boys' classroom, trying to get their attention so they could all go to the roof for lunch.

iwaizumi and oikawa stood up, then walked over to where y/n was waiting, then all three of them made their way up to the roof.

"so, isn't your tutoring sessions starting today?" iwaizumi asked, scrolling through an app on his phone.

"mhm, except i don't know—" y/n began to say until she felt a light tap on her shoulder. she jumped, startled by what had just happened.

"sorry, i didn't mean to scare you." aito apologized, giving a small smile to y/n. her eyes widened, coughing up a few petals into her hand.

"oh, no it's okay." y/n stammered, waving her hands back and forth while turning red.

"so, about the tutoring thing? can i get your phone number so i can text you about it later?" aito asked. y/n hesitated, then frantically nodded as aito gave her his phone.

y/n entered her number into his phone shakily, then handed it back to him.

"thanks! i'll text you soon, see you later!" aito waved as he walked off while y/n waved slightly, then turned back to iwaizumi and oikawa, extremely flustered.

"ooh~ you gave him his number?" oikawa teased, smiling at y/n. he coughed up a few petals, then quickly dropped them on the floor.

"yeah." y/n said, covering her face in her hands.

"hey y/n, it's me aito!"

"oh hey aito :) so where do you wanna meet for tutoring lessons?"

"i was thinking that one park by that bakery? that place seems pretty nice for it"

"okay, what time?"

"meet me at the front of the school after our last class"

"okay, see u then"

y/n clicked off her phone, tucking it away in her pocket while slightly tuning out of her focus in class. she was excited, but also nervous to be spending time with aito, alone.

she was worried of what he would think of her. and what aito would think about y/n's hanahaki. she shook her head, as she heard the last bell of the day go off. chatter broke out amongst the class as everyone packed up, ready to go home.

"hey, y/n!" aito called as he saw her approaching him from a distance. y/n shyly waved back, not wanting to draw much attention to herself.

the two of them walked to the park together, small chatter happening between them.

"so, which subject do you need most help with?" aito asked, taking a glance at y/n while walking.

"chemistry." y/n groaned, her head hanging low. aito chuckled a bit, then patted her on the back gently.

"it's alright, i'll help you. how many days did the teacher say for tutoring?"

"hmm i think about four days?" y/n thought, unintentionally tapping her finger on her chin. aito nodded as they got to their destination.

they sat together at a picnic bench, sitting at opposite sides of each other. as they took out their notebooks and pencils, aito peered over at y/n's homework.

"what unit are you doing?"

"um, good question." y/n mumbled as she flipped through her notes, aito chuckling a bit at her clueless response.

as she found her unit summary page, she rotated her notebook to show aito. he read over the page, slowly nodding as he took in the information about the unit while his eyes scanned through the paper.

"oh, we did this unit a while ago." aito said. and with that they started their tutoring session. a lot of the dialogue consisted of groans, confused mumbles, and aito laughing at y/n.

"oh that makes sense, so—" before y/n could finish her sentence, she had a coughing fit that lasted longer than usual. aito looked up at her from his notebook, a worried look painted across his face.

y/n had finally stopped coughing and looked down at her hand, which had many flower petals on her hand, a few falling to the ground. to her surprise, she had seen something new. a few traces of blood.

"are you okay? here, i have a tissue." aito said, digging in his backpack for a tissue pack. y/n thanked him as she wiped a small drop of blood off her lip and her hands as she dumped the petals on the floor.

"we can end the session now, it's getting pretty late. are you sure you're okay?"

"yeah, i'm fine. thank you."
