Hello guys! School's about to start, so I might not update that regularly. However, thank you so much for your votes and comments! It means a lot to an aspiring writer like me. Before this chapter starts I just want to say that the events in this part might not be factually correct so please bear with me. Please continue to read and comment your opinions and vote and stuff! "Have a great day! Make some friends!" I wave goodbye to Gustave as he follows Jean and Amelia past the school playground into the building. Erik has his arm around my waist.

"I'm so proud of him," he says. I smile in agreement. Our son has really grown. Not only is he beginning to reach my shoulder, he's been reacting very maturely to the chaos around him, and it's really making my responsibilities as a mother a lot easier. I bet it is for Erik as well; he's not the fatherly kind, but he's trying.

We take a carriage home, enveloped in each others' arms. His hand rests gently on my belly. Sometimes I forget that I am carrying a child - I am that busy with the theatre, which has closed for a while because of the incomplete program.

"Oh yes! I forgot to tell you," I suddenly perk up, "we need a performance to fill up Meg's spot."

"Well, Angel, luckily, I have a duet composed."

"For us?"

"I wish, darling, but I can't reveal myself on stage." Before he can continue, the carriage stops.

"Why not?" I ask as he closes the door behind us and walks past me.

"Look what happened last time. I had to run to America because of that performance. Plus, no offense, but we could something new."

"What's wrong with me? I am Christine Daae, soprano ingenue."

"Okay, number one: I don't think you're an ingenue anymore - you've lost your innocence." He shoots me a look and I give him a playful punch on the shoulder. "Two: having a fresh addition to the cast would be nice. I know there are so many young, talented people out there dying for a chance to perform on my stage."

"Alright. But can we sing it once now? I'd like to hear it."

"Of course, darling." Erik takes me by the hand to the piano, on which lay a headache-provoking clutter of ink bottles and manuscript papers. We both sit down and he hands me the vocal score. "Ready?" I nod.

Once upon another time

Our story had only begun

You chose to turn the page

And I made choices too

Once upon that other time

We did what we thought must be done

And now we have no choice

We do what we must do

We love, we live

We give what we can give

And take what little we deserve

Once upon another time

I knew how our story would end

And maybe I was wrong

But now the moment's gone

Were it still that other time

I'd make time itself somehow bend

but now I'm not that strong
