Chapter 25

"Would you, be my girl friend?" He asked

"Girl friend?" Brianna asked trying not to sound disappointed. "I thought we were friends already?" She said face down playing with the charm on her new bracelet.

"N-No B that's not what, that's not what I meant." Everly scratched the back of his head. He placed his hands on her shoulders, and slowly went down to her hands leaving tingles all the way down.
He squeezed her hands gently making him earn her attention.

"Brianna, this might sound gross but I've spent more than three months with you and that is enough for me to know how I feel about you. B I'm, in love with you and I want you to be my girlfriend. So, Brianna Rosella Blake will you be my girlfriend?" He asked, honesty and sincerity written in his voice and face.

Brianna was still trying to take in what she just heard as she looked up to Everly. Her lips curved slowly forming a beautiful smile. She bit her bottom lips and nodded, saying yes to his request.

Everly came down to Brianna's level engulfing her in the sweetest bear hug ever. The happiness he felt was foreign.
He lifted her up making her laugh like a five year old in her father's arms.
"Put me down already" she said laughing.

"This is the part where I kiss the bride right?" Everly asked, putting the sturborn strands behind her ear. All atom of shyness had left him the moment she nodded yes.

"Shut up" Brianna felt her cheeks hit up. "You don't ask your girlfriend if you can kiss her, you just do it." She said anticipating her first kiss. She wondered where that confidence came from.

She turned around and took a step forward and was about taking another step when her boyfriend held her hands, spun her around, stoop to her level and pressed his soft lips on hers sending electricity all over her body, the sweet fragrance emanating from his body sent her to Wonderland as she reciprocated the kiss.

He was about deepening the kiss when the cheering and clicks of a small crowd and their phones and cameras pulled Brianna out of Wonderland. She hid her shy face on his chest. He carried her bridal style talking her far away from those idiots who spoiled their moment.

He apologized to her as soon as they got out of the park, celebrity issues.
Places were already dark
The ride home was not as noisy as it used to.
Everly kept glancing and staring at Brianna from time to time the latter just smiled or giggled and told him to watch out before he hit someone on the road.

He parked, they got out and leaned on his car.

"Babe? Is there no way you could have more free days? I'd really love to spend more time with my girlfriend you know. Sundays are just too short." He said as he finished the last part with a cute pout.

"Awww! I'd love to make my boyfriend happy but I'm afraid there is just no way." She replied cupping his cheeks as she smiled and shrugged. "But I'll find a way, promise!" She added.

"Thanks" he smiled. "Ugh I don't want you to go now" he turned her around and hugged her from behind, resting his head on her shoulders.

She giggled "But you know we can't stay here for-"

"Hey looks like you've grown a tiny little beard on your chin" he interrupted her.

"No way" she said facing him.

He laughed and raised her chin with his index and thumb. "It's right here" he said and he slowly pressed his lips against hers. She kissed him back and their lips moved in sync, slowly but passionately. Butterflies in both their bellies, electricity moving between them. His left hand caressed her cheek and his right pulled her closer if that was even possible, deeppening the kiss and supporting her since she was on her tippy toes. Her hands went to his hairs and her fingers feasted on them as they always wanted to.

They were running out of breath so Everly pulled back, he pecked her lips. She felt him smiling against her soft lips. He break the contact looking at her in adoration, the smile still on his wet lips.
"You're beautiful. And, short too" he caressed her cheeks and she playfully slapped them. He giggled and said softly
"I love you B!" and kissed her forehead, not giving her time to answer he said "Sweet dreams babe" He winked, a smirk on his face.
She playfully rolled her eyes and mouthed "be safe and take care." Then she got in.

He got in his car and drove off.
As soon as he did, someone else too drove off. Someone who witnessed their romance under a despitful glare.
