"You can't do this to me. I've been the backbone of this coven for centuries. Y'all want to turn your backs on me because I couldn't fill that stupid cup? This task was greater than my strengths. I beckoned on you all to help me and it was still greater than us all-"

"It was too late Hecate it was never more than us all." A woman, apparently in a her mid 30s interrupted the witch's rant.

She was standing in front of the council of witches of the province. The woman who interrupted her was seated on the highest chair, it looked like she was in charge of the coven.

Hecate had exhausted the life span of her host body and had failed to fill the cup and get another host. They had to use her for others purposes, else she'd vanish into thin air and that would be a great loss  and waste to their coven.

"We're not sorry Hecate. You've been very useful to us but we can't help you. We have to cast the lot if we still want you to be existent. In another form of course." The witch said remorselessly looking at Hecate. "Cast your suggestions into the transparent urn and let the potential flying being pick a black paper and read it out loud." The boss lady said in a loud commanding voice. Hecate was going to be transformed into a messaging bird the witches had to suggest the specie of messaging bird.

In and instant Hecate had the pot-like urn floating in front of her. She picked one of the black papers. "Black raven." She read in a low voice.

"In accordance to her declaration, so be it." The ladies in black chanted pointing their wands in Hecate's direction. The later screamed as her body shrinked, taking the form of a black raven.

"Mum why are we making all these cupcakes? I'm honestly exhausted. This is more than enough for just three of us."Patra said placing the last tray of cupcakes in the oven.

"Seriously mum, I'm running out of decoration ideas for these ones already how am I going to do for those ones in the oven. I'm exhausted and hungry and we are not even allowed to eat them yet." Kels complained filling the piping cone with vanilla buttercream frosting.

"Come on girls, that's the last dozen in the oven already. Y'all are going to eat till you'll want no more when all is ready to be eaten just be patient some more" Belle said wearing an encouraging smile.

Belle woke up today with this cupcake opsession.
Initially the cupcakes were for the three of them but she had the Rainbow Kids Home, an orphanage she loved making yummy patisseries for on her mind when she started. It was her own way of  putting a smile on the faces of those bundles of joy.
After making enough cupcakes for the Kids Home, she made more cupcake batter for her family's consumption. Who does not like cupcakes huh?

The girls were free to go when the cupcakes in the oven where out. They went upstairs to go freshen up while their mum stayed in the kitchen finishing up with the cupcake icing.
They were going with Belle to the Rainbow Kids Home so they had to get ready fast.

After about 45mins Kels came down adorned by an olive green shirt dress that ended a few inches above her knees' a light brown tiny belt marked her waist line. She wore a light brown mini boot and on her head was a brown bowler hat.
She typed on her phone while walking towards the dining table.

"Young lady, we'll be having our meal when we come back from the orphanage." Belle said stopping Kels on her track. "Wait where is your sister?" She asked walking to the end of the staircase. "Patra we're not going for a gala night it's just to drop this package and say hi to the kids." Belle shouted for Patra to hear her where ever she was upstairs.

"Sorry for keeping you waiting ma'am. I had to wear a make-up worthy of my person." Patra winked coming down the stairs.
She had a brown trench coat over a beige dress that had the same length as Kels'. She had a pair of beige hill sandals and a beige chain purse hung on her right shoulder.

"My sister is a legal bomb!" Kels winked at Patra as she helped Belle with the boxes of cupcakes.

"I pray she doesn't cause explosions today though." Belle replied as she walked to the door. "You're driving young lady." She said throwing the keys at Patra.

"Mama I think we should do this often." Patra said taking her trench coat off of her shoulders.

"Definitely, if I wasn't so hungry I would've stayed there longer." Kels added closing the door behind her.

"I know right? Why do you think I love spending my free days there? Those kids are just so adorable." Belle interjected.

"Well those at orphanage are lucky all the children they receive are gently and respectful." Patra said setting the table.

"Ugh sis, I know right." Kels said while setting the cutleries.

They finished setting the table and they continued talking while waiting for their mum.
She didn't take long though. As soon as she sat down the door ding-donged.

"I'll get it." Kels stood up and walked to the door.

"Good afternoon Ma'am! Its a package for Belle Blake." The delivery guy said a coy smile on his face.

"From who please?" Kels asked signing the proof of delivery for her mum. It was a family thing for the Blakes. The person who gets the door signs the POD.

"No idea ma'am. I'm just the delivery guy." The young man replied.

Kels took the box and closed the door. She dropped it on a coffee stand beside the couch.
"Mum it's for-"

"Ding-dong" the door bell interrupted Kels.

She robotically walked to the door and pulled it open.
"Yes?" She asked when she noticed it was the delivery guy again.

"Sorry. I have another package for this address, for the the Blake sisters this time." The delivery guy said still wearing his beautiful smile.

"And I guess you don't know this sender too, because you're just the delivery guy" Kels said signing.

"You said it all ma'am. Have a great day!" The delivery guy said and walked down the porch.

Kels had not even walked four steps away from the door when the door bell rang again.

"Oh God am I going to eat today?" She said as she made a U-turn.
She pulled the door frantically. "What else Mister delivery-"
The package she was holding dropped to the floor, she stood there staring mouth agape.

"Who the hell is that now? Be fast or I swear we're starting this meal without you g-"

"Aaaaaahhhhhhhh!" Kels' shreak interrupted Patra's threat.

She ran into the house, jumping and screaming like a footballer celebrating her first goal.

Her madness attracted her mum and her sister to the door where they heard a masculine chuckle and a light giggle.

Patra looked at her sister in amusement.
"Did you win the lotte- "
