Wake Up Call

Chapter 21

Cameron loved his party.

Today's the last day of school.

Honestly I don't know if life could get any better.

I looked desperately at the clock 10.. 9.. 8.. 7.. 6.. 5.. 4.. 3.. 2.. 1..

The bell rang, schools over, officially.

Summer has started.

Lexie was coming home from school with me so we could do stuff like swimming and other random things.

Me and Lexie got out of our separate cars and walked inside.

Cameron had brought Peter home.

This was going to be the best first day of summer, ever!

"Cameron!" I said.

He picked me up to where I was on his back.

Peter did the same with Lexie.

"Should we bring these two ladies upstairs so the can change into their swimsuits?" Cameron asked Peter.

"Why yes I think that's sounds wonderful."

They ran up the stairs making me and Lexie laugh.

They threw us on the bed and left the room.

I flipped my head to where I was facing Lexie "this is going to be a long summer."

"Yep," we got up and changed into our swimsuits.

Mine was a turquoise swimsuit that was strapless and Lexie's was a purple one same as mine.

We bought them when we went shopping together.

Cameron and Peter were right outside in the hall when we came out.

They both charged at us picking us up.

Me and Lexie laughed.

When we got to the swimming pool I heard Lexie say "please don't throw me in."

I was gonna say that to Cameron but I was no use, he had already launched me in the air and I went under water.

I swam back up to the surface.

"Thanks a lot," I laughed.

Cameron did a cannon ball causing water to go everywhere.

Lexie decided to jump in, as she was about to Peter pushed her in and he jumped in after her.

We finished swimming and Lexie commented,

"Well that was fun," she said as all four of us got out of the pool and dried off.

"Yes it was." Peter and Cameron came over to the two chair we were sitting at and Cameron sat in my lap and Peter picked Lexie up and she sat in his lap.

"I'm glad it's just the two of us, no Bryn." I said to Lexie.

"Yeah me too."

Cameron still sat on my lap and Lexie started to fall asleep with her head on peters chest.

When Lexie and Peter had left it was just me and Cameron.

Lindsey was at some guys house.

It was perfect.

"Cameron?" I asked.

"Yes?" He replied.

"Do you.. Wanna have a dance party?"

He laughed, "that's not what I expected but sure lets have a dance party."

I turned on the stereo and found 'Turn Down for What'

We started dancing and singing along to the songs that came on the radio.

Finally we both collapsed on the couch and sat there breathing rapidly trying to catch out breath.

After awhile we both got up and I repeated,

"This is going to be a long summer."

"That it is." He kissed my forehead.

When he let go he dragged me up to his room.
