It's been awhile since  everything happened between me and Aaron, like we haven't hanged out much with no having to talk much in reality and on text. Both of us seem far apart but not on purpose we both seem to not know what to say with one another. I'm not going to be that person who just seems all bitchy because Aaron isn't always making the first moves by texting me because that wouldn't be fair sense I'm technically doing the same thing to Aaron. But anyways, I've finally found a college I seem more comfortable going to I'm going to study law at this college but my mind still travels off to what Aaron might be studying. Maybe law as well, but he also seems to like Psychology with English which both classes suit him the most, but maybe I'm just over thinking it. I can't believe that I'm going to be an adult in a couple of weeks going back to this college but I'm also going to be renting a place so I could go back and forth to my dorm then the college which also means I'm going to share it with someone which I hope it's going to be someone I know. Anyway, since me and Aaron have still been awkward towards one another I decided it would be more mature if I texted Aaron if he would like to go and get some coffee at the near by coffee shop close to the book store library where Peggy seems to work at ( even though it doesn't really suit her ). So I picked up my phone and went to my contacts seeing all of my friends names and profile pictures made me giggle, I haven't changed these names since the freshmen year which is still hard to believe it's all over. I thought of what to text Aaron, what should I start off with.. do keep in mind that my feelings for Aaron haven't changed ever since our little
moment so this was already getting stressful with every second. Maybe I should start off by saying something chill and calm, so I did

Me:
Yo

Damnit now that I think about it that was probably the oddest choices of words to pick just to say 'hello'. I put my phone down knowing that Aaron was probably too busy or something to not even talk to me let alone respond to a text which I completely understand ( haha I don't... because I'm a dick ). But suddenly, my phone made a buzz sound while doing a small shake against the table where I set it down, my hand reaches out for it as the first thing my eyes gaze upon is Aaron's text.

Long Legs:
Alex? Didn't expect this

Suddenly a rush of guilt came to me, damn I haven't been texting Aaron that much anymore that he's actually surprised to see a text from me now? Not a good thing to do with a crush- or is it...

Me:
Have you forgotten about me already?

•••

Long Legs:
No, I didn't forget you it's just we rarely talk anymore.

•••

Me:
Let's change that

•••

Long Legs:
What do you mean?

•••

Me:
Do you wanna go out and get some coffee? Maybe catch up on some things like the colleges we got into and such

He stopped texting me after awhile when I sent that message, maybe he doesn't wanna talk to me anymore maybe we're out of touch that much. But once again, my phone buzzed and I reached over got it turned it on for a hot second, with that I saw Aaron's text just saying a simple yet so comforting word

Long Legs:
Sure

It was straightforward but I think that's what made it so perfect at this moment. That Aaron didn't stay silent for so long and answered, maybe I'll just have to be the one making the first moves to try and win Aaron over. But not do it so creepy by just kissing him out of nowhere like drunk me did when Aaron took me home from Angelica's crazy party. I text Aaron back
