Mark lay on his bed later that day. It was 2 in the afternoon, and he hadn't done anything other than break up with his boyfriend.
His cheating boyfriend.
He rolled over. It hurt him to think about it, and for the past few hours all he'd been doing was trying not to think about it. He hadn't eaten breakfast or lunch but didn't notice because he had no appetite anyway.
What BamBam had said echoed in his mind.
How is anyone supposed to love you?
He squeezed his eyes shut.
Did he mean it?
Mark was starting to believe that their relationship had been one-sided the whole time. That all Bam had done was pretend. But if it was true, what about everything they'd done together? Did that mean nothing as well?
Had it meant nothing the entire time?
He turned and picked up his phone to distract him from the tears that were aching to escape. He didn't want to cry over Bam. It was obvious he didn't care. Mark clicked on Jinyoung's name.
Mark felt grateful that at least someone had his back. He got up to arrange himself and clean up a bit before Jinyoung arrived. After a few minutes of cleaning up the place he'd angrily trashed that morning, he picked something up that made his heart tighten in his chest.
It was a framed photo of him and Bam that was hidden underneath some clothes, which was probably why he hadn't noticed it earlier. He didn't really know why he decided to frame it. It was a photo the two of them had taken at a cafè on their first date a year ago, a really silly picture Bam took, actually.
I wonder when he started liking Yugyeom.
Mark's doorbell rang, jolting him out of his thoughts and startling him so much that he dropped the picture. It fell on the floor and cracked.
Mark picked it up, considering throwing it away, but no matter how much he told himself that he and Bam were over, he couldn't bring himself to get rid of the picture.
Sighing, he left it on the table and went to open the door for Jinyoung.

The only thing BamBam left the house for that day was to buy a new phone. He'd absentmindedly cleaned the mess on the floor and put away all the clothes Mark had returned to him.
He had no idea what he would do on Monday at uni, or how he would face everyone. He felt like a terrible person, and he wished he could just wake up from this nightmare he was having.
After returning home and getting used to his new phone, he boredly scrolled through Instagram, wanting to get his mind off of everything. When he came to Mark's new post, though, he took a breath and sat up.
Not knowing how to feel, he decided that he wouldn't feel anything. Mark had a right to his life. BamBam low-key wished he had someone to cheer him up, but Mark was the victim, right? And he was the bad guy. Nobody wants to hear the bad guy's side of the story.
He left his phone on his nightstand and rolled over, finally letting out the tears he'd been holding in since that morning.

Jinyoung and Mark sat on Mark's bed, talking about random things.
"Should we order something?" Mark asked. "I'm hungry,"
"Sure," Jinyoung replied.
"My phone's outside, wait,"
Jinyoung nodded and watched as Mark left. He looked around the room as he waited, noticing something lying on Mark's table. Getting up, he went towards it and picked it up.
A broken picture of Mark and Bam.
He didn't really know how to feel. A mixture of sadness, anger and jealousy, he guessed. Jinyoung had had this crush on Mark for months now, and being the good friend he is, all he wanted was for Mark to be happy so he stayed out of him and Bam's business.
Now BamBam had hurt Mark, and this was probably Jinyoung's chance to tell him how he felt, but he knew Mark needed time to feel better.
He sighed, setting the picture back down as Mark walked into the room.
"So, pizza?" Jinyoung asked cheerfully.

That weekend went by quickly. Nobody spoke to Bam, and Bam kept telling himself that he didn't need anyone to speak to him. He wondered, though, whether he had no friends now. Whether everything had changed. Yugyeom kept trying to talk to him, but BamBam really did not feel like it. He knew it wasn't Yugyeom's fault, but how could he talk with Yugyeom and act like everything was fine when it wasn't? His world seemed upside down, and he had only himself to blame.
Mark spent the weekend with Jinyoung, who was doing a really good job at cheering him up even though almost everything he saw reminded him of his ex. He wondered if he and BamBam would be just friends, but with the way they'd ended their relationship, maybe they were well and truly broken.
Neither of them were looking forward to the end of the weekend, but it was inevtable that they'd see each other again. They didn't know, though, that the coming week was going to be way more eventful than they could've imagined.
