Jinyoung refused to speak to Mark on the way back to his house. They were meant to crash at Mark's place, but that was obviously not the best thing to do at the moment. Mark had no idea what to say to his boyfriend. He knew he should say something. Say something.

His mouth refused to move and they continued to drive in silence.

Stopping in front of Jinyoung's house, neither of them moved for a moment before Jinyoung wordlessly opened the door.

"Wait," Mark said pleadingly, grabbing his hand.

Jinyoung waited.

"I'm sorry,"

Jinyoung stared without emotion at the dashboard before sighing. "I know. I forgive you, I already did,"

"Then why have you been so..."

"I need to think, alright? I just need to think for a while,"

Mark, wondering what exactly he was going to be thinking about, nodded. "Okay. I... bye,"

"Bye," Jinyoung smiled weakly before stepping outside the car and closing the door behind him.

*the next afternoon*
Bambam wasn't very sure how he felt.

He'd spent the night with Yugyeom, as they'd agreed, and this wasn't their first time, but Yugyeom had been a little... off? It wasn't like he wasn't enjoying it, it just seemed like there was something else on his mind.

Bambam had questioned him about it right before bed, but he received a pretty lame excuse.

Quickening his steps, he crossed the street, heading towards the restaurant that was close by. He'd left to buy lunch instead of ordering, wanting to get some fresh air, and think.

Just as he was wondering what he should get, he caught sight of someone passing by the restaurant he was approaching.

Mark was walking slowly, his hood over his head, staring at the ground.

Bambam's steps slowed down before he hurried towards the boy. This action was out of instinct, and he had no idea what he was actually going to say or do. "Mark!"

The boy looked up, meeting Bambam with a somewhat troubled gaze.

"...Mark?" Bam asked, worried. "Are you-"

"I'm fine," he replied, nearly inaudibly. His eyes left his ex's and he walked away.

Bambam watched him leave. He knew full well not to disturb Mark when he was like that. What was making him so upset, though?

Still thinking about it, he entered the restaurant.

***
"Hey," Bambam said as he entered the house, seeing his boyfriend seated at the dining table.

"Hi," Yugyeom replied with a smile as Bambam sat next to him.

He took the box containing his lunch, getting up to grab a spoon and fork as Bam began to talk.

"You know, I saw Mark on my way. He looked... he actually looked really upset. I hope he's alright,"

Yugyeom didn't reply, silently getting the utensils and sitting back next to Bambam, handing him some.

The room was silent for a while, and Bambam was about to ask Yugyeom if he was alright when he spoke.

"Jinyoung broke up with Mark this morning,"
