"Haxus, what's going on?" The Ambassador asked.
"That main engine just shorted out." Sendak walked to the control panel to see what was going on. It appeared that someone had gotten in the castle and stopped the castle from taking off.
"We have a saboteur. Find him and take him out," Sendak told Haxus.
"But sir–" Haxus started.
"Haxus! I want whoever's one this ship found and terminated!" Sendak yelled, losing his temper. Behind them, the one in black started waking up. He sat up, looked around the room, and up his head down, as if ashamed.
"Commander Sendak, I've received a transmission generating from somewhere inside," Haxus said, letting the lost princesses' voices fill the room.
"There's not much time before they get the ship running again. You must shut off the particle barrier so we can get in."
"You got it. Tell me what to do." That sounded like the little green one.
"The particle barrier generator is beneath the main hull."
"She's telling the intruder how to take down our defences," Haxus said.
"Nav duh šerloks," The Ambassador said quietly under his breath.
"Yes, but she's also giving away his location. Find that room. Kill the Paladin," Sendak told the sentries. "Repair the engine. Emperor Zarkon has commanded us to bring him Voltron."
"This ship will rise before day's end," The Ambassador continued. The sentries and Haxus went to do as they were told.
"Why can't I deal with the Paladin?" The Ambassador asked. "I mean you got to already fight one. I want a chance!"
"It's not that I doubt your capabilities. I trained you myself."
"Then why?"
"You're my responsibility to look after. I need you in my sights at all times." Sendak did not continue. Nothing more needed to be said. Well, maybe one thing.
"Then why did you let me go after the Red Lion?" The Ambassador asked. Sendak looked down at him in surprise. He sighed and answered, "Because of what it means to you."

Shiro watched this interaction, very much intrigued. 'Who was this guy with the mask? He couldn't have been Galra. Surely I would know... right?' Shiro thought.

"Commander Sendak, Ambassador, I've made it to the engine," Haxus voice announced. Sendak nodded to The Ambassador. He nods in return. He walks over to the control panel.
"Power up the sub panels."
"Powering sub panels."
"Sub panel energy transducer is go."
"Aye, sir. Opening pathway to link with bridge. Initializing main cluster reboot."
"Initializing complete. I'm set up for main power up."
"The bridge is go."
"Powering up," Haxus said. "Sir, something is wrong."
"What did you do now Haxus?" The Ambassador said, almost bored. Then Haxus starts screaming.
"Haxus! Haxus, can you hear me!" The Ambassador questioned, much more awake. He turns his head to Sendak. "What do we do?"
"If something happened, Haxus can hold out his own," Sendak replied, more calmly than The Ambassador felt comfortable with. But he nods, going along. However after a bit, with no response, Sendak walks down to the control panel.
