Deadly Life Part Two

Bonamu woke up from his slumber. He felt dehydrated like he had just consumed polluted air in his sleep. He coughed into his hand and got out of bed. He rushed out of his room and into the dining hall. Inside he saw the other students all chugging water like it was the end of the world. He followed suit and chugged with the rest of the students. After he felt like he could actually breathe he looked at the others.

"Did you guys wake up like this?" He asked.
"Yes, I felt very dehydrated and started coughing so I came here to get a drink of water," Aoi said.
"I felt like I breathed in polluted air when I slept," Makoto said.
"Same with me," Sakura piggybacked.

The students looked at each other trying to get an answer in any way. Coughs were heard every now and again, some even said they had a terrible headache. No student could give an answer as to why they were feeling the way they were, until the monitor turned on and Monokuma began speaking.

"My apologies, students. Seems the air purifier malfunctioned when you were all sleeping," he spoke.
"What now?" Aoi asked.
"The air purifiers. Ya know the things keeping you alive?"
The crowd of students looked in awe at the monitor with the bear's face on it.
"Why wouldn't we be able to breathe in the normal air?" Chihiro asked.
"Puhuhu you'll have to find that out in a later date. While I have your attention why don't you all move to the gym. I have a special surprise for you all."

With that the monitor turned off and the mascots face disappeared.
"That guy is a sick twisted fuck!" Mondo yelled.
"Indeed, but we should do what he says and go," Celeste said and exited the dining hall.
The rest of the students followed the goth and soon found themselves in the gym.

They sat in the gym for ten minutes before Monokuma finally appeared.
"About time, why keep us waiting?" Byakuya snarled.
Monokuma simply dodged the question and began speaking to the students.

"Now I know I only gave a motive to Sayaka last time, but this time you'll all receive one!"
"So this will get this killing game back in motion?" Byakuya asked. "How interesting."
"Oh of course! Now everyone grabbed one of these," the bear said as he threw a number of envelopes with the student's names on them. "Each one of these has a secret about you on them. If you don't want it revealed, then I suggest you get to killing!"

Bonamu opened his envelope and gasped.
"How the hell did you figure this out!" He yelled.
Monokuma just laughed at the boy.
"Everyone we can keep calm and stop this motive dead in its tracks!" Kiyotaka said. "Let's just reveal the secrets, if we do we'll have nothing to worry about!"
"N-no! You'll all look down on me more than you already do!" Toko said back.
"Insufficient piece of trash," Byakuya directed at Taka. "You can not compare the weight of your secret to others."
"I-I was just trying to help," Taka said sounding defeated.

Monokuma gave out a loud and joyful laugh.
"If it's not a big deal, then I'll reveal some!" He laughed. "Where to begin? Puhuhu how about Byakuya! Did you guys know he exiled his siblings to become the heir to his corporation!"
The students looked wide-eyed at the heir and were at a loss for words.
"Yes it was unfortunate, but I was simply better than them so it was meant to be," he said with no expression on his face.
No one said a thing to the man, all were lost in thought of why he did such a thing.

"Oh, don't forget!" Monokuma said. "Bonamu Simisu was abused by his father during his training. Poor little Bonamu couldn't make a mistake or it was a fist." He let out another laugh as even more confusion and frustration but the crowd.
"You bastard!" Bonamu yelled.
"Is that true?" Makoto asked.

Bonamu paused for a moment but couldn't look the ultimate lucky student in the eyes, or anyone for that matter. But he could feel their eyes, and the beaming glare that came with it. He fought back tears before turning to the others.
"Y-Yes it is."
Silence was held over the room until Celeste broke it.
"That is most unfortunate," she said.
"Indeed, you have my sympathy," Byakuya said reluctantly.
Bonamu stayed silent for a moment, then finally said something.
