The thirteen students stood on the elevator as it descended down the shaft. It was completely silent. Not a cough, sigh or groan was heard. Bonamu stood patiently awaiting for the doors to open and the class trial to begin. After what seemed like centuries it did just that.
They each took a slow step forward into the room, their each individual shoes making their each individual noise on the tiled floor. They took their spot on their podium, and Monokuma began to speak to them.
"Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls!" He shouted. "Welcome to our second class trial!"
"Cut the shit!" Mondo yelled. "We need to get to the bottom of this!"
"He's right," Aoi said. "Where do we begin?"
"Well I think the murder weapon would be okay to start with," Makoto said.
"Indeed," Kyoko agreed. "We can assume it was the-
"It must have been a lead pipe!" Yasahiro yelled, cutting the Ultimate Detective off. Each of them looked at the man who stared back in confusion.
"Or," Bonamu started. "The bloody dumbbell we found at the scene."
"Wait what?" He asked.
"Good lord you're dense," Byakuya said.Kyoko took out the photo of the dumbbell they took at the scene. Everyone looked at it and stepped back.
"What if it was just a diversion to lead us away from finding the truth?" Mukuro asked.
"Y-Yeah they're f-fooling you all!" Toko said exaggerating a bit.
"No the blows to the head match those of the dumbbell. So we can safely say that's the murder weapon," Makoto countered.
"Well said, Naegi," Bonamu said with a smile. Now that the murder weapon was agreed upon. The truth would become more clear by the minute. That's all they needed, the truth. It would save their lives, but at the expense of another.
"Well what about the location of the body?" Sakura said. "We believed it was in the girls' locker room."
"But we were incorrect," Kyoko finished. The students looked at her with shocked expressions.
"How do you prove that one?" Byakuya asked.
"To put it simply. The posters on the wall and rug."
"You're telling me that a poster and rug is your evidence?" Taka asked.
"Correct, care to explain, Boanmu?"Bonamu looked up from his notes while not entirely hearing the conversation.
"Oh yeah. The poster in the girls' room was of a big breasted women and the boys' had a boy band poster in them. The rug in the boys' room had Sakura's protein powder on it," he said with hand motions to attract everyone's attention to him. "From this we can assume that the crime scenes were switched."
"But why?" Aoi asked. "To detour us from the truth?"
"Maybe. But there's no telling for sure until we find out who did it," Bonamu answered the best he could.Byakuya gave out a light chuckle and looked towards everyone.
"I think it's quite clear who did this. The gruesome serial killer, Genocide Jack!" He said.A gasp was heard amongst the group. Fear swept over some of them and they began to cower.
"You mean Genocide Jack is one of us?" Celeste asks.
"Correct. In fact, it's Toko."Most were speechless at the accusation. Some yelled out "what?" And others stared wide-eyed at the Ultimate Affluent Progeny.
"Toko. Is that true?" Aoi asked.
"Y-You said you wouldn't tell anyone!" Toko yelled at Byakuya. "You p-promised me!"
"Save me your pity. You came to me with your little sap story. I didn't ask you to."
"You said y-you'd go on a date with me!" Toko yelled out again in anger.
"How many times must I tell you. I never said that."Toko shouted in anguish. Byakuya was quite clever if he managed to pull this off. That doesn't excuse how much of a dick he is though.
