"Sav! Hurry up!" Shane yells at me.
This is it. It's the day of the barbecue. I feel like I can pass out.
"One second! I'm just putting on my clothes now!" I yell back
Before hand I already did my simple make up and my hair. Which consisted of me straightening my hair and putting it in an high ponytail.
We love heat damage.
I spit on my stripped black pants and a white cropped sweater and a black cropped tank top underneath.
"I'm readyyyy" I sing walking out of my room.

In the short ten minute drive to lanas we playfully bantered back and forth.
"Nigga you made us late" Shane says as we pull up to the three story house.

I look at his outfit which is just a black shirt and black jeans with multiple thick chains hanging down his neck.
"You dress like you only have two outfits" I tease him again which he only kisses his teeth at me
I try to have as much conversation and teasing with Shane before I tell him the news along with everyone else.
"Hey guys" i say as we walk into the backyard.
Everyone is here. Dave, Sam, Layla, Kareem even my mom is here.
The important people are here.
"Oh baby, I missed you so much" my mom hugs me.
"Hi momma" I hug her tightly missing her.
She cups my cheeks "are you okay? Is Shane being good to you?" She bombards me with questions
"He's doing great" I smile
"Good good" she kisses me on the cheek
"Savvy, I was wondering when you was coming" Sam comes over and hugs me
