6 years later...
Jody's POV
"Girls, your breakfasts are ready," I yell up the stairs and count down on my fingers from 5. I then hear a door open. And another. 7 year old Isla comes down, followed by 6 year old Zara. Then, I leave them to eat. The girls can be trusted not to drown in milk or choke on cereal. Isla always keeps her little sister in check.
"Hey, woah, what's the big meeting about?" I go into Tyler's study and see a PowerPoint document open titled ' Big Meeting'
"It's about what new-age songs to play at the radio station. See, Lexi likes Shotgun by George Ezra, Joseph enjoys Queen, and Piper likes 7 rings by Ariana Grande," he replies.
Isla walks in holding a big cushion. " Mum, shall I feed Boe? " She asks. Just kidding. It wasn't a cushion. Boe is Isla's dog. A 4 year old bichon frise. We got her for Isla because she was desperate.
"Yes please feed her, she's probably really hungry," I then turn to Tyler, " And as for the songs, maybe put on some Little Mix. Girls love that sort of stuff. Our girls certainly do. And you could also put on some songs by that boy band Why Don't We. You know, Unbelievable, Chills, Big Plans, that kind of stuff, " I reply.
"Mum!" I hear yelling from in the dining room. I rush in there, and I don't even care about anything else. I see Zara stood there holding Nurse Squid, her toy. She's soaking wet. "What happened?" I ask, perplexed.
" Zara was trying to get some water, but she blasted it too much, and soaked poor Nurse Squid, " Isla tells me.
"Ok, well we'll put Nurse Squid in the washing machine, and she can have a bath," I reply calmly. Normally I'd be terrified as I wouldn't know what to do.

8 hours later...
"Right girls, time for bed," I tell Isla and Zara. They are really good when it's time for bed. Isla gets up, and picks Zara up. At times, Zara will get really tired, so Isla will carry her up to her room. They walk up the stairs and me and Tyler shortly follow. I walk into Zara's room, switch her light out and kiss her goodnight. "Look what I've got," I say, and reveal a washed and dried Nurse Squid. She cuddles her. "Thank you, Mummy," she says all excited. When they are tired, the girls call us Mummy and Daddy. Our girls are really funny and they are adorable.
