Tyler's POV
I'm so happy to finally be back in the UK. Me and Jody are shopping for the baby. We know that it's a girl, and I've told Jody to name her what she pleases. My daughter is called Isla. Today, me and Jody are going to a Costco size baby shop. We've made a list of what we need. It's a big list. This big shop means that our family is growing and it feels so sureal.
"So, which paint do you think we should get?" I ask Jody, because I'm so indesisive , so I won't be able to pick.
" I like the baby pink. We could also get these stickable letters. We could spell out her name and stick it on the door, " She suggests. Jody is a genius.
When we get home, Jody and I get to work decorating right away. Me and Mike, who was the care worker at the care home we used to live at, start building. We build the cot, changing table and wardrobe, and Jody paints the room.
The next day, the paint has dried. We then build everything else, like the drawers. After that, Jody tells me where she wants it, and I put it there. We then stick the letters on the door. Isla's room looks amazing, and I cannot wait for her to arrive.
